If Usyk doesn't beat Chisora easily it's a loss

 

Good sparring session for Usyk. Chisora retires in his corner late after being played with from round 3 onwards.

 

I consider Chisora to be a gate keeper. If Usyk can't get past him or if it's competitive he doesn't belong in the heavyweight division. That said I expect Usyk to win.

 

Everyone underrating Chisora and overating Usyk - Can't wait to have a big laugh on this thread. Usyk is going to get marked up but the journey man.

 

I will be the first to admit i overated usyk if that happens. Im expecting usyk to beat chisora a brutal beating .....

 

You dont need to admit the truth - it wont be such a noble gesture. Usyk did not impress me on his HW debut against a fat slob. Usyk got marked up in that fight against someone who did not even want to be there. And it took 8 rounds for the slob to call it a day due to exhaustion.

 

Usyk wins ever round by wide margins, except maybe for the first 2-4, which he often just takes off because he is so good he can.

Gassiev all over again.

 

Usyk will win every second of every round Chisora is mediocre.

 

I'll be surprised if Chisora takes more than one round.

This is HW boxing so he can be caught and KOd with one good punch.

However, I think Usyk will win nearly every round and probably stop Derek mid to late.

 

Usyk had a lot of ring rust, and tends to box to the level of competition.

Look, some of y'all don't get something here. I'l break this down for you. Chisora is a guy who, in a very good round, will throw 40 punches or so. He is as likely to throw 20 or so.

Usyk, in his important fights, averages 70-80, and in big rounds, when he wants to make and impression, will throw over 100.

Unless you are talking about a stoppage, Chisora has no chance whatsoever. Since Usyk has been hit in pro-style fights by Majodov and Joyce, and in the pros by Huck, Bellew and Breidis, who have competed credibly at heavy, I don't see a stoppage.

If I am wrong, I am wrong, but barring an injury, I don't see a Chisora pathway to victory.

Usyk wins but he’s gonna be in a fight. No way this looks like the walk in the park that Gassiev was.

 

I will **** my pants laughing if Chisora KO's Usyk and all the people rimming Usyk go missing from the forum.
