I find Zarate & Perez quite overrated. Jofre and Wilde too.

I do think people largely dislike Floyd and he is undervalued by a lot of people in classic. But this is an equal and opposite knee jerk reaction of overrating. I think Floyd is great and his home is 15-25, just not quite 5-10 as you suggest.

Tyson, probably the most overrated boxer ever by some distance. Very overrated around here too.

Liston is drastically underrated because most of his title defenses came before Floyd would dare fight him. The dive is what it is, but Ali had the worst style ever for Liston.
Floyd gets overrated at Welter when the Welterweight version which is undersized and past his prime a bit. Lightweight Floyd, presupposing intact hands, is a historical problem for anyone not named Armstrong or Duran. Top 15-25 feels about right for Floyd all time. At this point Manny has eclipsed FLoyd's achievements in every way but the actual fight puts Floyd higher.
    Marciano is the GOAT Cruiserweight.
FOTC Frazier earned his unicorn status. Same with Tokyo Douglas and Toledo Dempsey.

I am guessing you are referring to Klitschko which is fair enough but who is the other? In any case it does not warrant the the rating of him as an all time great by many on here

Just the fact that he can compete at HW shows how special he was. But people act like he was unbeatable at 147. Given that it happened numerous times to inferior fighters, I can't help feel that he's overrated. If he's out-boxed by an old Britton, wouldn't a prime one beat him cleanly? If he's out-boxed by Shade, Latso & obviously Britton, I'd feel comfortable picking Rodriguez, Leonard and Griffith over him.

I agree, he's not among very best at WW. His career at that weight is a bit underwhelming for such a good fighter. Still, his P4P accomplishements are amazing.

He's one of those tricky guys who has to be ranked very high P4P, but wasn't dominant at any weight.

Like it or not Wilder probably has HOF numbers just in terms of defenses. Plus the highlight reel.

I think Fury is most certainly a Top tier H2H heavyweight of all time. In that I can't think of a non-ATG I'd favor over him.

Jack Johnson and it isn’t even close. He would get obliterated by most the champions that came after him especially anyone with movement and speed.

Kind of curious how you find these guys overrated? Wilde wasn’t even 100 pounds so in the modern era would be comfortably under straweight yet was a dominant undisputed flyweight who regularly beat bantams, some greats even. He’s a “pound for pound” marvel and shows good on film. Jofre was a great, dominant Bantam and close to perfect fighter who fought in opponent’s backyards, knocked them out and took on all styles. Not to mention came back and rattled off 25 fights unbeaten, was a great feather and maintained a great level until 40, unheard of in that era. There’s a reason Archie Moore, Nat Fleischer etc; marveled at him and put him up there with the best ever. Zarate seems underrated. Extremely dominant, like the aforementioned not to many weaknesses at Bantam and destroyed some superb fighters with very differing styles. Martinez, Zamora, Davila couldn’t be any more difficult yet the results were brutal and dominant beatings.

Opinions I guess but I find that trio is usually rated accordingly or underrated if anything.

Most of the icons. Dempsey, Marciano, Jack Johnson, even Duran. Through time they've become symbols rather than fighters, and that's when things start going off the rails. Very hard to see past the idol worship, and if you DO have the temerity to suggest these people weren't infallible you're slagged off as some hipster revisionist who just wants to look different.
