Povetkin would highlight reel destroy him in 3 rounds. Morrison was pretty garbage. He was fast, explosive, and had a nuclear laft hook. Nothing else.
Povetkin knocks him out. Tommy was a 4 round fighter with no defense, stamina, or chin. He also overly relied on his left hook, no way is he beating someone on povetkin’s level. Bet it would be exciting while it last though
Povetkin could recover from a Morrison left hook. Morrison would not recover from a Povetkin left hook. It's really that simple. Would be hella entertaining while it lasted though.
Lets talk prime.....went life and death with cream puff feather fist Chambers........was rag dolled by stink the joint out glass chinned jab and grab WK......so what is exactly Povetkins best win ? Shot Pensioners Rahman/Byrd ? Or is it cannon fodder Huck ? He could not even win a legit belt in a **** poor division while pissing PED hot. Morrison did what the Hype job could never do, win a legit belt from old George Foreman who in his VERY NEXT fight stopped newly crowned Champ Moorer who just beat Holyfield. Povetkin was stopped by the stiff green Bodybuilder who in his VERY NEXT fight spit his mouth piece out and quit against a 300 pound Nobody.... Win or loose, Morrison fought way better comp than Povetkin in a much deeper division This is a 50/50 fight, but one thing for sure , Povetkin aint walking thru Morrison and he is easy to hit, let see how he takes the left hook.. BTW, Whyte is a club fighter at best, he sucks beyond sucks.
Terrible post. Your giving Tommy this much of a chance because he beat an old as hell foreman Povetkin only lost to high level fighters, Tommy got dropped twice by a shot Carl Williams, went to war with a journeymen they pulled from a crowd, was bounced around the canvas and knocked out in the first round by Bentt, and got completely whooped on whenever he stepped up. Combine that with terrible stamina, glass chin, and no defense. Tommy doesn’t have anything more than a punchers chance, and that chance is gonna be gone after 5 rounds
Morrison had the power to take anyone out but he was also pure china, he got starched in a round by a guy with 11 fights & dropped by the likes of Carl Williams who isn't a noteable puncher lol.. if we look at both of their overall careers I'd say it leans towards Povetkin starching him
I think Tommy Aids has a chance. Povetkin has been dropped/staggered by LH's from Wlad, Price, Whyte off the top of my head. So it's not impossible to land them. Povetkin is going to be the fav of course but it could be a great fight to watch.
Povetkin is of slightly better caliber. He is more nuanced, a bit more polished, and tougher. I would favor him because of that, but Morrison certainly had the speed and power to pull it off. That left hook of his was a serious weapon. Also, you aren't watching boxing if you say a guy has "no defense". Morrison had better than average defense, he just didn't take punches that well.
