I had it a draw, personally. But That also means I don't begrudge either guy winning. Credit to Jarmall for winning. He had a distinct size advantage which really helped him out (especially in the earlier rounds) and Sergiy as always was a slow starter, but that's a whole lot of "Not Charlo's problem."

...there sure ain't no love...maybe proclaiming themselves as the coming before they'd done anything of note aka Eubanks Jnr didn't help?

115-113 or 114-114 were acceptable scores for me. 116-112 is edging it too far and anything beyond that was a disgrace. Yank press have it badly wrong as usual.

Common factor? Yanks backing their man, all too wide. Disgusting scoring.

He can’t have been much bigger than Charlo, Charlo moves up from Super Welterweight and Derevyanchenko is a career middleweight, Charlo was probably 173lbs and Derevyanchenko like 170lbs

Charlo proved that he belonged in there with the elites of the division. And with GGG on verge of retirement and Canelo very unlikely to be back(at 160) It’s much needed fresh blood.

I honestly thought Korobov had a stronger case to beat Jermall than Deravy did last night.

You can guarantee these same people blowing smoke up Charlo for laboured wins* over ageing Korobov & Chenko are the same ones who dumped all over GGG back in the day for blitzing his opponents.. even funnier , Charlo is even fighting in a similar manner to an OLD triple G now & they call him a face first bum slayer .. now Charlos a superstar for it? LOL.. What's the big deal about this fight really tho? Charlo won. That's clear for me but he beat a nearly man who he clearly had a size advantage over , was coming off a hard fought loss & was 1-2 in his last 3 fights. Are PBC & Charlo fans so desperate to make up for so many recent failures that they are now dropping every recent prejudice they held in an attempt to bolster a fairly unremarkable win? Solid performance. Decent win. But Breidis was the standout from last night. Sorry.

I'll wait till I see the fights to give you my honest opinions of both. If the Charlo's deserved their wins I'll give both full credit. You always come up with the "hate" accusation when peoples opinions differ from your own. Up till this fight I havent see Jermall do anything spectacular. To coin your phrase " Jermall still owes Matt Korobov a rematch" Jermall didnt win that one

Hopefully Matvey takes care of the business against Ronald Ellis, then maybe we’ll get the rematch.

i just stay out of his thread because it’s clear he’s hated.. I saw someone say that he only fought JMW last year so he suck.. Mind you GGG brought up Monroe, Brook, Stevens, Vanes, Steve Rolls and Ishida.. Danny Jacobs brought up Mora(and was dropped), Arias and Sulecki.. Not to mention all the JMWs Hopkins and Sergio fought.. Now he clearly beat Sergiy but hey whatever..

I had it 114-114 but 115-113 charlo more likely than 115-113 Dere.
