I think he was still hurt from the knock down in the previous round and the body shot took the wind out of him so he went down and was likely the concussion effect from the previous round that caused him to convulse while trying to get up
No dive It was a wierd KO but it was legit, the dominican took a lot of damage the previous rd, he propably was breathing hard at the break, still dazed, got up to start the fight again and was caught in the gut, Rosario was empty going in that round. Imagine GGG doing that to Rosario would people say he took a dive ?! Hell no Lets move on please, I'm more interested to see whats next for Charlo twins
Watching the fight live I fed thought something was weird about it when I saw it. But if he was going to dive why not do it in the sixth.
It almost hit him right in the middle of the belt, pretty much right on the belly button. It didn't seem to have much power, but I don't recall seeing too many punches land in that location as body shots usually hit on the side of the abdomen. I don't see why he'd take a dive, he would've taken it earlier when he was hit in the head, unless he was going for a specific round KO for betting purposes. Personally, i think it was an unusual place to be hit, took the wind out of him and maybe he just had enough.
You ever taken one to the liver? A perfectly place shot will take your breath away. Good luck trying to get up when you can´t even breathe.
It was odd, but what sold me on it being legit was the way he acted on the ground. He looked like he couldn´t breathe. It was like he was gasping for air. Maybe he was breathing in when Charlo landed the punch. Would explain why it was so effective.
