If they took Fury lightly after their first fight then they were stupid. I don’t believe they did to say that is just an excuse. Wilder’s biggest problem is a lack of boxing fundamentals. When Fury changes tactics in the 2nd fight pushing Wilder back he could not adjust or adapt. I have seen a lot of Wilder and he is basically the same guy.
I think Wilder can only win if he lands the 'overused' lucky punch. Otherwise it's #2 all over again.

Did you actually watch the fight? TF never really let Wider set anything up or get his game plan going and no amount of Wilder trying to fight off the back foot would have made an apeth of difference. TF beat Wilder at his own game by being the ring bully with all of his 270lb. Wilder came in at pretty much his career heaviest and still got rag dolled, a lighter Wilder will likely sucumb even quicker. I think TF respects Wilders power but, he seems to have zero fear of it and has Wilders number, especially now Wilder is in the twilight of his career and carrying the after effects of a lot of wear and tear, particularly on his hands and arms.
I can agree with that going into the first fight, but in the rematch?, no way. Especially not after Wilder's knockdown of Fury in the 12th. That knockdown would have been a KO for 100% of all the Heavyweights out there. They came well prepared for a long tough fight in the rematch but didn't expect Fury to smother, bully and brutalize Wilder the way he did. You can clearly see Fury's positioning, he never stood in the range of Wilder where his right hand would land with full snap. He always closed the distance every time he noticed Wilder was getting comfortable and immediately jumped on him to keep him on the defensive and never comfortable. Fury did his homework and honestly unleashed yet another legendary performance. Fury got all the credit and attention for that victory, but the performance itself remains underrated in my opinion. People with no clue whatsoever about what they're watching tend to blame Wilder for losing rather than give credit to Fury's performance, ring IQ and ridiculous movement and awareness especially at that size. The reason why Wilder looked bad is because Fury studied him well and gave him zero openings or breathers throughout the entire fight. A third fight could result in Wilder's retirement. He will get pummeled even worse. Wilder has insane power and nothing else, he won't be able to adapt and provide any answers. He will fight in the third fight exactly like he did in the last two fights. Fury, on the other hand, has ATG quality skills. Fighters with skills like that always adapt and bring out different performances given the challenge ahead.
Yes I watched the fight bro. And I agree. No matter what DW did it probably wouldn't have made a difference. But I still think he expended too much energy too soon. He should have picked his shots more carefully, rather than just throwing and throwing hoping for the best.
Wilder has a puncher's chance if Tyson's hasn't trained properly, or takes him lightly and switches off during the fight or something like that.

Tbf mate, Fury was the first prime capable fighter that Wilders ever fought, he feasted on poor opposition, that’s how he’s got this far undefeated. He’s been champ for years but probably was never a top 5 fighter h2h
I think he thought Fury was bluffing and planned to box like the first fight and was completely caught off guard and thrown off of any game plan he may have had.
The differences between the 2 is Fury can adapt and change and Wilder cannot, and Fury has a better skill set.
