Seriously, it's absurd how overrated both are. They deserve eachother. Two manufactured "greats."

If we're talking about the general public who thinks that Mike was the GOAT and can walk on water, then yeah he's overrated.

But among hardcore fans? Mike is either rated correctly, or even a bit underrated at times.

He's definitely underrated on Eastside. Mike has been picked against on his forum for guys who realistically would have no chance with him.

I've heard posters on here make a case for Gene Tunney beating a prime Tyson.

What Roy did post Ruiz was at the time heinous. I could hear the haters calling "see that's what happens when he fights somebody on his skill level" Tarver. Or "all he did was fight bums his whole career" if you were in that era you would've known Tarver owned Jones. I can still see the people calling him a glass jawed superman. So with all this hate, I think you could have the argument that he was overrated near the end of his career. The same concerns go into the Tyson fight, how will his chin hold up? Overated yes, pre Ruiz no.
