Eubank is the better boxer and has the better resume and fought in day before weigh ins so he would be in the ring like 18 lbs heavier and briscoe is a pressure fighter which would suit eubank who is good at setting traps and would outbox him at range, Eubank by late stoppage or points
I like Briscoe (Eubank too TBF), but don’t see him winning this. Eubank by pts. I think people just like to pick guys they like and against guys they hate, regardless of matchup.
Eubank struggled v Tony Thornton who fought exactly like Briscoe, I think Briscoe v Eubank would play out similar to thaty fight and I`m not sure Eubank really beat Thornton.
Eubank was good but he really struggled to beat many people convincingly on points if he could not stop them. He’s not stopping Bennie Briscoe.
Yes no way could he stop Briscoe, a load of fighters went the distance with Eubank, Thornton`s pressure really took the snap and speed out of Eubank`s combo`s.
I think this would be a distance fight. Whenever Eubank is mentioned in these head to heads I always repeat myself, namely his output isn’t high enough. Briscoe on points in a hard fought UD.
