You have an extremely weak understanding of what physically gifted means if you think Ike was more gifted than Tyson.

And don't talk about what you couldn't see happening to Ike, when Ike got a gift decision over the homeless man's Mike Tyson. A fight Ike clearly lost is what put him on the map.

This is ludicrous. You are comparing apples to construction equipment.

Ali’s greatest gift was his mind which allowed him to out think his opponents and create strategy that won him victories in and out of the ring. Ike was insane, thought he was literally the president and had to be tricked into doing basic normal things like taking a shower, talking to reporters and even his training.

If you want to discuss physical gifts alone then look at his muscle, too much for full extension on his punches, top heavy and imbalanced. Tyson was a better physical specimen for boxing, so was Lennox Lewis. Muscle bound boxers like Ike, like Frank Bruno appeal to those who have never fought.

Since everyone else has pointed this out to you and you have chosen to ignore it I have to ask... Ike is that you?

No he didn't, the majority of the public agrees.

    Tua deserved the decision.

In the 15 round era, Tua probably stops him.

Yeah how do people get Tua winning? He was comprehensively outlanded and outworked and lost by at least 3 rounds.

Yes, Ike that walked through Tua's punches all night, and still had zip in his punches even in round 12, was the one that was going to get stopped.

I'm sorry what? Since when do you need to be 280+ in any sport other than football or sumo wrestling to be considered "physically gifted"? If 95% of the human race weighed that much they'd be straight up obese. Besides if someone was somehow athletic with fast twitch speed+power at 280 I would immediately suspect they were on PED's.

Shout out to slobs like Andy Ruiz and sanders.

Gotta be gifted to not train or diet and to go on to win world titles

shovelhook, any pro HW of size is likely to hit very hard.
And that KO rate is no joke, but combos, volume, accuracy surprise & other skills like how not be KOed also go into that rate.
I just have never heard that Vilali had "massive" power.

For an average man in the street, of course.
Not for a pro HW or a SHW.
Anyone who just throws arm punches is not going to punch as hard as those who leverage their full body weight & kinetic chain.

You must punch very hard for a guy of your size.
But unless you are an almost unprecedented freak of nature, it seems impossible that throwing at literally half your force you hit hard compared to a much larger boxer. Hell even Shavers Wlad or whover you think is the hardest striker ever would not hit hard compared to his peers at 50% of their power. Impossible.

Now technique-to get near maximim power technique must include leveraging your body weight & major muscle groups effectively.
Why don't you start a thread about how hard Vitali hits, have a poll with options from cannot break a soap bubble to hardest puncher ever.
If you want to be fair & impartial, list his KO rate but note the many things besides one shot power go into that.

Right, & again Ike was 235 at his best.
Also Holyfield was 217 ripped, but this was with PEDs.
And he is conflating musuclarity with "gifts".
First off, you could be that big due mostly to an effective doping regimen.
Secondly, there are tons of big lifters & most of them are not particularly athletic.

They just put on mass from doggedly lifting for years, often enhanced greatly by steroids insulin &/or HGH.
