Listen, I respect you and I respect your opinion. But I haven't seen either guys' matches to completion so maybe I shouldn't have said anything. I just feel bad because I am Mexican and you guys don't know what it's like having so few heavyweights who can be up there without getting overweight. And it's like, we matter too, you know.
Fury got nearly demolished by Wilder...lucky for him Wilder was exhausted. Mike was a far better finisher. Fury would be done in 6. Wilder hit harder, but Mike was faster, better fight game overall.
Rematch Fury vs. Wilder? The fact remains (no excuses): Fury was nearly pulverized by a MUCH lesser fighter than Mike Tyson. Though Deontay is my favorite heavyweight today, he is nowhere near top 10 ATG material. Mike most certainly is. But this is all my opinion, I respect yours.
it would be harder for mike than people think, tyson fury was a shell of himself in there, remember mike was also a shot fighter after being a drunk coke addict who gave up training, dont forget this!
Good points. It's just that prime Mike was SO good, and beat some really good fighters, including Spinks and Tucker and Thomas. To me all Fury beat was an old Wlad (who in his prime would have probably stopped him) and (this was admittedly a great win) Wilder. No offense if you're a fan of Fury. I must admit I like Deontay better, and consider him better for the sport (more exciting).
I grew up in Riverside right near Arreola's favorite restaurant, Albertos, next to Parkview hospital and Hunt park. I wanted to see him do well, being a Riverside boy, but his lack of discipline was a big part of his problems in the ring. Trust me when I say, my criticism of Arreola has nothing to do with him being Hispanic. If you know Riverside, you know it has a huge Hispanic population. Growing up not Hispanic and bi-racial, let me tell you, I had to fight a lot growing up, but my best friends were all Mexican, to this day my best friend is Mexican. We met in Kindergarden in 1975. My wife is Mexican. So, no racial bias from me my friend!
You're alright, chollo. I didn't think it was racist, I thought it was just bein against havin floppy pec tit muscles. Cuz it's really hard to have Mexican genes and be over 200 pounds and not a cruiserweight and not be floppy. It's just like real tough. I go over 160, my dong even gets cellularlite.
If I can't share it with fellow boxing fans, I can't share it with no one cuz my girl don't even wanna hear that ish, ya'll.
Mike Tyson admitted that he was having a very hard time landing clean on Tucker. I’ll take his word over yours.
I happen to like Tyson Fury and rate him very highly. In fact I rate him higher than Mike and believe Fury wins this mystical matchup. But TF was dropped by featherfisted cruiser Steve Cunningham. If you don't believe Mike stands a chance, well......
