Duran is way too much for Floyd Mayweather. This man beat Ray Leonard in his prime. Duran beats Mayweather easily. And would seriously **** that man up.

    Way to underestimate Floyd.
But yes, Duran would have been an absolute nightmare for Floyd(and possibly beaten him).

Yet Floyd was the master of making adaptions during fights. How many times did he loose the early rounds only to go to pretty much dominate the rest of the fight?
And if Carlos Palomino can handle Duran on the inside, then so could likely Floyd.

And Duran barely beat Leonard. Yet there is this idea that it was a dominant victory. Just like there is this notion of Leonard dominating Duran in the rematch, which simply was not the case.

He beat Leonard, it is what it is. No way a guy busts up Leonard and loses to a vastly inferior fighter like Mayweather.

Can't beat a man who won't fight you.

If a 2008 Pacquiao put the fear of god into Floyd then I don't know what Duran would have done. Probably the same deal, tried to label him a drug cheat with a big head then go into retirement.

I'm not going to sell floyd short and call him a bum, he is upper echelon, but if the fabulous 4 were all graded A+ then I would grade Floyd as an A fighter in comparison. Duran is all wrong for floyd. Its hard to see floyd handling prime Duran when guys like Castillo, Maidana and old De La Hoya gave him issues.

Duran gave Palomino and Leonard a boxing lesson despite Ray be the bigger man and one of the most dangerous fighters of that era, Floyd was never in with that level of opposition, Duran wa far better on the inside than Floyd, he certainly threw and landed more on the inside and clinched less than Floyd did, Floyd would constantly clinch v Duran but Duran knew how to control an opponents arms on the inside.

Leonard was a much bigger puncher than Floyd and he couldn't keep Roberto off him,, Duran would walk through Mayweather, over whelm him and stop him around the 12th or 13th round

13th being the key, Floyd never had to keep a fighter of him for 13 or 15 rounds.

Duran did not give Leonard a boxing lesson.
And go look at the Palomino fight again. Most of the time when they got up and close, Palomino managed to tie Duran up and then they were seperated by the ref. That was Floyds specialty.

And I didn't even say that Floyd would win. I just find it ridiculous to think that this would have been an easy fight for Duran.
Just shows how biases get the better of peoples judgment.

Ray fought to Durans strength in the first fight. FM, I don't think , would do that. As far as who would win. Sometimes I say FM other time I say RD.
