Reminds me of Callum Smith. Good fighter and good power.

Just see too many flaws in him though, it's a good fight for him though for a learning one.

Maybe this is why he's being moved slowly though, defensively very poor and I think against a big skillful puncher he's a potential walking KO waiting to happen at the moment.

 

Buatsi is still miles away from any of the top dogs at 175 that much is obvious.needs a few more fights just like that.

 

Never seen a fighter looking more at his corner than opponent wondering why they have misplaced the towel.

Shades of Burns v Gonzalez where an opponent three rounds up on all cards after 9 rounds suddenly retired on his stool.

 

Undercard was terrible. Level wise one of the worst I’ve seen. Babic fight was fun but that sort of fight should be opening a card.

Cameron fight was crap. The other woman was awful

Main event quite fun though. Callic a little better than expected. He was throwing the same combination most of the time, Buatsi should really have been defending that a little better. He got it done in the end though I suppose. Buatsi seems a nice guy, I like him. Unsure on his ceiling, I don’t think he’s going to be a great fighter or anything but he’s good.

When Callum Smith was fighting at that level he was jnocking opponents out in 1 round. He is the Ring Magazine World Champion, so not really comparable at this point.

 

Both comparable skill wise was my point.

 

Anyone know buatsi’s ringwalk? Samples drake’s pound cake.

 

I wouldn't say so. Smith has better footwork, jab and defence. That may change in time, but just now I would say p4p he is a couple of levels above Buatsi.

 

He didn’t against Ryder.

 

Not impressed, just seen the fight now. Can't take those shots against Yarde.

 

Maybe he will improve. Eddie maybe now might book for him Burton to fight vs him or someone else from U.K. Ward for example.
