If you do it only makes you look worse and I'll circumvent it so go ahead. I accept not being mean to staff, I don't accept not being able to differ in opinion. I have principles on this matter, you can't be so nitpicky and actually set some solid ground rules.
No, that might apply to why I gave him the first round, I even thought that myself when I was writing his name down.... but then I acclimated and adjusted and saw that he won the second, and yes... IMO clearly. Maybe you weren't expecting it. Thought he was doing better than you thought he would, and went out of your way to look like you weren't falling for the "better than expected" fallacy, so you didn't cut him any slack, until he won the 3rd overwhelmingly and convinced you.
Idk, maybe. I'm probably going to keep thinking I'm right, as you are. It wasn't some dominant Ćalić round devoid of good Buatsi work either way, though - and you and Shovel both know that.
I'll give you that with the first, the second.... was a Catic round quite clearly. There's only one way to settle it. Let's both rewatch the 2nd and score it again, if I was wrong, I'll cop to it.
Buatsi showed some serious mettle I'll give him that. Head and foot movement requires a lot of work though. Calic's corner... Just bizarre.
...alright, 6:12 in. First fifteen seconds controlled by Buatsi's jab-feint, not landing, jsut generalship. Two stiff rights on the body by Buatsi, first significant scoring shots. A couple of nice Ćalić lead rights, well-thrown and forceful but both caught on the forearms. Buatsi snapping jabs, Ćalić slapping them down while stepping around. Ćalić 1-2 misses past the head, then so does one of Buatsi's. Three punch Ćalić combo blocked. Little landed in the middle minute. Jabs and parries as Buatsi pursues and Ćalić dances around. Right hand on the body by Buatsi. Ćalić sneaks in a jab and the right cross maybe just grazes Buatsi's eardrum. Buatsi jabbing the chest, making very light incidental contact. Rights up top by Buatsi, and Ćalić courageously dives in and plants an uppercut on the bottom of the kisser before tying up. Jabs by Buatsi miss, 1-2 by Ćalić is blocked. I stand by very close, and by Buatsi edging it.
Yeah... I'm sticking to my original score. Calic started out well, landing one twos and hard rights, one even seemed to shake Buatsi up a little, most of Buatsis work to the body was being caught on the elbow of Calic, but Buatsi was certainly more active, just not that accurate in the second half. But Calic slipped in a nice short uppercut and several more one twos to end the round strong.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Because ultimately... we're both way too stubborn, so there's not point in arguing.
This content is protected I'm game for Part II. Buatsi needs more seasoning and development at this level before he takes on a Bivol (right now he'd get schooled) - although he could probably already beat caveman Yarde (whose shine is mostly from giving a shaky-looking Krusher a bit of trouble, but IIRC only winning like one clear round off him?) Plus, if Ćalić avenges we get a fun trilogy!
Predictable outcome, fight was even longer than I had expected. If Buatsi does have problems with someone ranked below 100 in boxrec, does not looks nice. Btw, I a bit amazed about comments like eurobum and plumber. If eurobums are bad, enough local bums too to do padding fights. Plumbers not likely will go in B side corner to fight eddie guy that is ranked #14 if " plumber " is ranked approx 154...... offense to plumbers.
