    Every time I hear some halfwit say we have a new Mike Tyson on our hands I can’t help but shed a tear as I remember the middleweight Mike Tyson, none other than superstar Jeff Lacy. Let’s take a look back at his caree... oh my god Calzaghe ate his soul!!

    Well, what about James Wilson or Sean O’Malley etc etc. STOP. STOP NOW STOP FOREVER. I say this for your benefit as every single fighter ever dubbed “The next Mike Tyson” has been obliterated in the ring as nothing more than hype. It’s almost a curse at this point.

    Too many people using Tyson’s name to hype up those who haven’t accomplished anything when Tyson was the youngest HW champion at 20.

    Are You getting paid to hype him by chance... cause if so then kudos.

    Jesus! He`s awful! Nothing like Tyson or Frazier, he doesn`t punch correctly and his combos aren`t fluid, he doesn`t have Tyson Frazier`s head movement, a total bum.

    I would like to see him do well, but the hype around this guy is too much. Let him beat someone and then we can get excited. Winters and Kennedy are not good measures.

    I understand he wasn't even a top-level amateur.

    I get that some of these responses are comedy, but the man is noticeably smaller than Whyte and about the same as Winters, so 6"1' is about right.

    He is a cruiserweight and he even weighs in near the limit. The fact he's blasted out a solid heavyweight with amateur pedigree like Kennedy is impressive. He was a good fighter at national level in a decent Irish heavyweight amateur scene at the time with Con Sheehan and Sean Turner being up there with him.

    He weighs a whopping 90kilos. He wouldn't need to cut weight to make cruiserweight.
