    BCS8, is that you ???:lol::lol::lol:

But anyways, all your points have already been addressed. You were provided with factual evidence that Toney has the better quality wins. You have taken the unreasonable route to dispute this and have not been taken seriously by numerous posters since. As for the Toney-Mc Callum I fight, I rather agree with Marvin Hagler .I think he knows a thing or two more about boxing than you:smoking:

WHAT? SIX men beat Thomas before the age of 34. They are Berbick, Tyson, Holyfield, Hunter, Bowe and Morrison. Four of them knocked him out.

I get it your a bit green as a poster when it comes to records and the 1980's.

Pinky drew with Coetzee, and fought dirty to win narrowly vs Witherspoon. Thomas ranking came and went quickly. He might beat Peter, or he could very well lose. I'd pick Thomas over Birggs, however a KO loss for Thomas can happen too,

Loudon, adding Wilder to prove whatever points are trying to make is like mixing Apples with Oranges and selling the both at the price of Mellons. You might as well bring up Lamar Clark while you are it it.

If your going to compare hall of fame middle weight fighters, Wilder doesn't belong, and you really should pick a middle weights for your example. Except you just can't.

But hey I get if. It its time for "no mas " BCB8 has placed you in, just move on.

Age and prime are two different things. I'd expect a long time boxing fan to understand that.

And btw, that's the last comment on this. The two reasons being, I'm obviously right, and that is has absolutely nothing to do with thread in the slightest.

Yes, but if you think McCallum at age 35 was in his prime, you'd be wrong. You need to brush up on Thomas big time. Thomas i snow sure thing over Peter, even at his best. He was a chinny guy, see his record.

How great does it make Lewis , that nearing 38 , while fat and slow , he still stopped a prime young Vitali in just 6 rounds..

    I wouldn't. And I'm not.

I've seen plenty of Thomas and plenty of Peter. I know more than enough. But If you think Thomas was chinny, you're the one to who needs to brush up on Thomas. BIG TIME.

Where's the Roy Jones Jr reply bro?

Your whole point is silly because GGG NEVER BEAT ANYBODY as good as old Mc Callum!!!your points are all garbage and have been refuted :lol::lol:

You were provided with factual evidence that Mike who aged very well was still a great fighter at 35.Toney himself was still great around age 35 as he got 2 of his best career wins around age 35.

Seriously man, what is wrong with you?

Who cares if Toney drew with that older version of Mike, WHEN:

That same older version beat Steve Collins

That same older version beat Sumbu Kalambay

That same older version beat Michael Watson

That same older version went on to win a title 2 divisions higher

    Read carefully:

YES, an earlier version of Mike could well have beaten Toney.

YES, Mike was past his absolute peak at 35.

HOWEVER, it was still a GREAT win for Toney, DUE to what Mike had done at the time, as well as what he went on to do afterwards.

Let me know when this sinks in.

    A hypothetical scenario:

In 2013, Canelo had scored a win over Floyd.

Floyd was 36 at that point, and past his absolute peak.

HOWEVER, it would still have been a GREAT win.

    Why?

Because Floyd was still a GREAT fighter at that point, as evidenced by his other bouts.

It does not matter if James Toney drew with and then beat a 35 year old version of Mike McCallum.

It was still great, because a 35 year old version of Mike McCallum was still GREAT!

    Please absorb this information.

you are of course right. But let’s not make Mike older than he was.He was 35 in both fights and just turned 35 in their first encounter. :)
