Who wins this and how? I think this is absolutely winnable fight for both fighters. But I see Dubois as better technician , a guy with better jab, and a better chin. They are equal on power. Speed and experience is on Wilders side tbh. I see a brutal KO here happening. Probably ending up with Wilder sleeping dreaming of unicorns.
Wilder KO would be my pick . although Dubois body work is nice. That could help him win. This is based off styles though id still pick wilder
I’m still not sold on Dubois and have a feeling he’s going to crumble mid rounds against Joyce. As it stands Wilder blasts out Dubois in 5 rounds
Same, and it's well worth it. People really need to take a big step back, take a deep breath and try to put this into perspective, because the Dubois backers are bordering on out of their minds with their high expectations. I mean... Joe Joyce has beaten..... Bryant Jennings, Bermane Stiverne, Filip Hrgovic, Alexander Ustinov, Viktor Vykhryst, Iago Kiladze, Michael Wallisch, Joe Hanks, Lenroy Thomas (unlike Dave Allen) and Ian Lewison (more impressively than Whyte). And... Daniel Dubois has beaten Nathan Gorman, Kevin Johnson, Richard Lartey, Ebenezer Tetteh, Kyotaro Fujimoto and Razvan Cojanu. I mean, what the ****? Get a grip.
I've said exactly the same about their respective credential m8.listen Dubois might win but at those odds for a far more proven and experienced fighter in Joyce I'm taking the plunge!!
Forget Wilder, he needs to get past Joyce. And despite what some people on this forum are saying, Joe Joyce should be the favourite in this fight. I'm sick and tired of people mocking Joe Joyce in the past few weeks, saying he's 'slow' and 'he needs to throw his punches now so they can land in November' and all the rest of it. Dubois will be taught a lesson by Joyce. This is way too early for him. Dubois is a mini, lesser version of AJ. Don't understand all this hype.
I'm a fan of Dubois but far to early for this talk and for him to be mentioned next to Wilder. If this happened tomorrow Wilder knocks him out. No rush with Dubois, let him learn, improve and gain experience at the required rate of knots.
Dubois has had 15 pro fights and 70 odd amateur fights. He's still clearly learning the craft. If he doesn't get past Joyce there's no shame as he's still a novice. His boxing is better than, one trick pony, Wilder. His resume takes a massive dump on Wilders just for facing Joyce, Wilder didn't have a serious challenge until he faced Fury. Could he beat Wilder, yep but why rush a young man with a bright future. At this point its like comparing apples and oranges.
