Who promotes Tszyu? I dont think lonnergan and Higgins would work together

No doubt Big Daddy brown will be trying to get on it. But he'd be asking too much. As will tszyu id imagine now he's got a bit of leverage. It will probably be a stinker of an undercard. Maybe Bowyn Morgan vs a washed up aussie. And that Andre Makailovich or David Light

 

Jai Opetaia is also booked to fight on that Canberra show against the always dangerous TBA.

I hope they take Justis Huni down there as well. Arsene Fosso would be a decent second fight for him.

Then get him over to NZ to face Hemi Ahio on the Joseph Parker v Junior Farter card.

Then back here for a fight with Demsey McKean in the New Year. That's how to kick start a pro career & get him ready to win an Olympic gold medal.

 

Most promoters who have done business with Lonergan have nothing good to say about him. He is a slimy POS

 

Browne always finds a reason to pull out of fights.

I'm sure Rose is doing the best job he can and obviously its more difficult finding opponents with everything going on with covid but I think Tszyu may be better off teaming up with 1 of the bigger promotional teams,with or without roses involvement ,in the next year or so if he is to make any real impact internationally as i'm not sure the current team is able to ,or has the connections to move Tszyu along fighting better opposition.
I think his current promoters are putting on some good shows and are 1 of the best in australia but i have been saying for a while now different things about Tszyus level of opposition before the Horn fight and lack of other big $ options for Tszyu.
Now after seeing the possible next opponent for Tszyu shows the concerns about them getting the type of fights Tszyu needs and should be getting after his win over Horn are warranted.

 

I am sure Rose is glad that you think he is doing his best job. Tszyu already has an alignment with Top Rank the biggest promoter in the world. Not many fighters are making big impacts outside of their home countries at the moment due to the pandemic. Tszyu's team did a great job promoting the fight with Horn it was a bigger event than most other promoters have done this year so not sure why you are suggesting he leave Rose behind. It is looking more likely that Tszyu is going to be one of the bigger cash cows in the light middleweight division so I think you are wrong about big $ options for him. Nothing wrong with his level of opposition in his last 4 fights he has been gradually stepping up and will likely continue to do so. I have no doubt he will land a big fight next year.

 

Not everything should be taken in negative way,as never said he had to leave Rose but needed that affiliation with a bigger promoter to help get him better fights as Rose himself would even admit at this stage of his promoting career with all his success domestic level basically.
The cash cow of the junior-middle divison,you mean domestically as he has no real big money options currently ?

 

He already has an affiliation with Top Rank. He already is a domestic cash cow and after another couple fights I am sure he will generate enough money to attract bigger name international opponents that will come to Australia to fight him.

Junior Tszyu is facing Bowyn Morgan next.

 

Good luck to Bowyn it's a big fight for him and a massive opportunity. Sadly he won't get anywhere near Tszyu.
