amazing fight. How funny was Tim Bradley commentary as well the genuine excitement was refreshing to see no clear bias etc this alone be worth the 10
Whilst it's a shame it's not going to be on Sky, you can understand it from a broadcasters point of view.
The only thing I find hard to understand is that every other Lomachenko fight has been shown by either BoxNation or Sky, yet this match up has been ignored by the main broadcasters.
Lopez snr has concluded that his son won't be at 135 for much longer and that there is an opportunity to catapult jnr into superstar status right now. Something that if this opportunity isn't taken now, may be a very long time before they get another chance. As there is no massive names at 140 bar TTT and he would of probably left that division by the time jnr moves up. Such a big name As the p4p no1 (maybe) and to get a crack at that kind of fighter doesn't come often. Especially when u consider that jnr has power and size advantage and should he lose he's still young and can rebuild in the 140 div, a place where loma will not be treading. You can't blame them for taking this fight. Thing is, i don't actually think we've seen all of vasillys skills yet. I get a feeling they've left some in the bank, to bring out on special occasions. Let's see if this is that time Loma too good imo. Lopez is a decent fighter with decent skills himself tbf, not just power and size but he does have some tricks.loma another level tho, I'm sure in that.
Loma is one of a few boxers who i get genuinely excited to watch. I can't wait for this fight and hope Lopez can ask all sorts of questions.**** Sky and BT with their boxing bubbles.
I know a lot of people don't like lopez and the father but he deserves respect for taking this at this stage in his career.you wouldn't see the likes of gervonta Davis,Haney or Ryan Garcia willing too that's for sure.
Even if he loses he can come out of this with his stock higher and experience of fighting the best out there.
Exactly he's talking the talk but walking the walk.you beat loma and you're a p4p superstar so go for it! There's no shame in losing either providing you have a right go and don't jack it or such.
Shawn Porter is a great example, that guy has literally fought everybody possible and has improved over time because of it. His stock never went down despite his style. Fighters like that are few and far between these days.
Loma comfortably. Too many dimensions for Lopez, Lopez will be confused by Loma and won’t work him out
Sky mainly show Matchroom Female Boxthing these days and pay per puddings - decent fights lacking these days on Sky Sports
