    Really odd match. Hammer is a very solid European level fighter. Allen is not.

    Yep I agree with Paddy. He seems to have been around forever but is only 32. (Hammer, not Paddy)

    Povetkin & Ortiz couldn’t stop him and Dave doesn’t box to win on points so I can’t make a case for him here unfortunately.

    Hammer on points, this is a terrible fight for Allen seeing as hammer is just as durable as dave and also a more skilled boxer.

    Hammer would have been a better opponent for Hughie Fury would he not? Hearn should just stick to putting Allen in with area level opponents.

    Eddie is a terrible matchmaker, Allen will either lose or look very poor, and Hammer is extremely unknown by the casuals. What are they gaining from this fight?

    I seriously doubt Eddie cares about Dave that much anymore, even the most casual of casuals knows he’s useless after losing easily to David Price. I’d be shocked if Allen could beat Hammer given Povetkin and Ortiz couldn’t stop him.
