Nobody quality guy in the history of boxing has been this big.

What is more, regardless of decline, many have done quite well near or past 40. And so will Fury, if he wants it.

Yeah when he was 40... by the tiime Ali was 36 he lost 3 of his last 4 fights and that includes Spinks and Berbick. if he beat Wlad at 33 then yeah they would get more credit but boxers are not the same when they are out of their prime. do I think Ali would of lost to Trevor Berbick in his prime or Spinks? Nah beating and old ATG is not the same as beating them in their prime...

Vitaly is the same height as Fury
Just because you are tall it doesn't mean you don't get old when you are 40.:)

Nobody did well at 40 lol
    Wlad lost.
Even Foreman lost to mediocre Morrisson.

Foreman lost to Young in his prime. He was that kind of fighter. Not sure if you were watching back then, but he won the linear title back at 45, so yeah, he did more than well. He did great.

Vitali held the WBC belt until he was almost 40, so yeah, he was doing well. He had a lot of injuries though.

LOL, you're kidding right? Vitali in his prime was a beast, who threw and landed hard punches. He was never behind on any score card nor was he down.

Fury defense is mis understood. While he can show boat and mae people miss, yet better opponents, none of which we're are Vitali's class often land 30% plus.

This joker has an average chin at best. Wilder who finally landed something in round 12, nearly Ko'd him. Wider as we know can't box well. Klitschko can

Vitaly and Foreman were very slow at 40/late 30s
Fury will become very slow and lose reflexes after 35 just like everybody else.
    Its less than 3 years.

But they were still good enough to compete at a high levels, using size and knowledge to compensate. They were not physically broken men.

That’s definitely a fight I would have been overly excited for. 50/50 fight though.

Foreman won the title against a cruiser on a lucky punch in the 12th when he was behind on the cards. Michael Moorer was not a good champion.

It has everything to do with it context is important beating a past pime atg doesn't mean the same thing as beating them when they were in their prime. Bryant Jennings showed Wladimir was well out of his prime. Beating a 40 year old Wladimir and A hype job who's career was carefully managed to avoid the best at all cost in Wilder... and what does Fury have Chisora? When Fury has an actual title reign then we can talk.

Vitaly and Foreman had power to fall back on.. Fury does not.

You really think physically you are even remotely the same at 40 as you are at 35 then you know nothing.

Yep, sadly Jennings showed us what was happening to Wlad. I wrote it off as a bad outing but the writing was on the wall.
