@Mendoza @BCS8 who do you pick to win between jones of the tate or hopkins fights and ggg from the murray or geale fights?
RJJ was, at his best, a generational talent. It's hard to pick against him. Could Golovkin beat him? I think so. Would Golovkin beat him? That's another question entirely, and I can completely see why people would pick Jones.
"We were supposed to fight in June and then it was March – March 17, I was supposed to fight Sulecki and he pulled out. Then they told me I was fighting March 29, then it was April 9 – guys just kept falling out and we just stayed in the gym. When we got the call for the fight they asked me if I could be 176 by Thursday or Friday and I weighed in that day at 174 or 175 that day." https://www.secondsout.com/intervie...yan-talks-about-the-biggest-fight-of-his-life I remember Tate looking like a basic boxer against (a green) Ottke. Jab, jab, overhand right. He had a good stance, kept his hands high but was a basic boxer. It was particularly amusing to see him get tagged repeatedly by Ottke's jab and then he broke out a whole head movement routine that looked like some strange dance when Ottke was throwing absolutely nothing at him. Nothing like slipping the punches after you've eaten them Guys like Geale and Murray would mallet him. So, the KO wasn't at 160? Can I then interest you in this? This content is protected You should watch more objectively. You should stop talking ****, and take your own advice. Murray was levels above Watson. Anyone with functioning eyeballs and their head outside ofToney 's anus can see that. Sure: If you prefer KOs over guys that were repeatedly knocked out by other fighters, to proven, un-KO'd iron men who were bigger than Golovkin. You're entitled to that opinion. But it's objectively wrong, and the poll reflects the rampant fanboyism here.
Still waiting on proof Jones Jr tested 5 times over the legal limit? Another thing , Sturm vs Geale was for the Super WBA Middleweight title. It was not a fight at Super Middleweight like you hilariously claimed . .
A win over Benn is better than anything on Murray's record. Watson's losing effort to McCallum showed class, overcome by an experienced elite. Watson arguably deserved the decision against Eubank in their first match and, on balance, between Benn, Eubank and Watson, I think the latter was the better boxer out of the three. Murray was solid enough at domestic level and put in a decent performance or two at Euro level. It was disappointing to watch him fail to press home an advantage over a loudly creaking Martinez. Him not being able to separate himself from Abraham, the same year he took the loss from Golovkin, was unexpected but revealing, in my opinion. The best of Watson would have taken care of business, against the best of Murray, in my view.
Golovkin punches harder than Jones, people don't like to admit it because they say to themselves 'Jones is so much better than Golovkin' and they can't bring themselves to rate Golovkin higher at anything
Next thread: who has the better chin, GGG or Jones? Votes ----------------------- Jones 25 GGG 14 Reasoning involved: "But RJJ went up to heavy ..."
None of the guys who I regularly debate with on here base their opinions on race. Don't even go there. The reason Roy is ahead, is simple: He knocked out durable fighters at higher weights. He has 2 one punch knockouts over world class LHW's, who were 2 divisions higher than what GG is operating at. It doesn't matter if GG is white. Roy is more proven. That's how simple it is for me. If people are voting on race etc, then they should be ashamed of themselves.
No. You have answered YOUR VERSION of my questions. You have done that all throughout the thread. You twist them around to suit your agenda. Every question I have asked you has either being twisted or ignored. Until you answer them honestly as they're set out, I won't be answering any of yours.
I'm just laughing off at you trying to rationalize the voting via your own spin and putting all your eggs in one heavily imagined basket. You see plenty of bizarre things in here but that little statement is up there with plenty of them.
