Theyre styles are not comparable so I take this with a grain of salt. RJJ got hit way less in his prime.
I think the poll is clear. To you what, how many middle weight can you name that have the following 1 ) Never Floored 2 ) Has all time power, defined with a KO% over 75% 3 ) Was a top level boxer, only behind on the cards after 5 rounds once with questionable judging when he was over 36 years old. That Trifecta. Let me know who you can come up with. Thank you,
Whelp, I'm surprised at this poll. There's usually always a 10% dissenting minority on all polls but not so far.
Apart from the fact that the proper use of the word "Trifecta" is that which pertains to a type of bet, even casual usage still requires that each one of the three components of said 'trifecta' needs to be definitively satisfied as a factual outcome. Your assumptive opinions are not definitive and, across two posts, have been described in different words, just to highlight that state.
Jones was always a huge MW. I think it was claimed he was 180 lbs for the bout against Hopkins. I think Jones' chin was sturdy against middle weights but more vulnerable against equal sized opponents he didn't have a significant weight advantage over. Golovkin's chin has been more sturdy against larger middles that are typically heavier than him.
