    If we are being honest Kabayel is the easiest option. Fury has the choice of;

    Ortiz, Rivas, Hrgovic, Hunter, Ajagba, Ruiz and Martin before Kabayel. I would put Kabayel in the bottom 2 or 3 of that list. The smartest fight to sell AJ vs Fury would be to fight Ruiz and coast past him easily to show hes better that AJ. The fight i would actually like to see the most would be Hrgovic vs Fury.

    But dont get me wrong I get why he would be fighting Kabayel and taking no risks. However in my opinion of all of the heavyweight fights happening in the U.K before the end of the year. This is the one I would be least likely to watch. Especially as I have heard rumours this is going on PPV. and is the main reason Dubois vs Joyce was taken off PPV.

    As a stop gap, Kabayel is ok I guess. Next fight needs to be another Wilder whooping though or preferably AJ finally meeting his maker.

    Comfortably beat Chisora who people use as a yard stick to say Whyte is world class.

    Not a fan of the fight but 8 weeks notice with a lot of greedy people around.

    He’s a good heavyweight but knocking on a bit. Once you get past that top 6 or so, I think they’re all capable of beating each other on the night. I think Joshua chins him though.

    I’m not anti the Kabayel fight in fairness. Never mentioned how he easily he dealt with Chisora. Would prefer Hunter though

    I'd be disgusted if Hrgovic got a shot, the bloke was talking about wanting to go back to the amateurs less than a year ago, he's done absolutely nothing to deserve to be talked about among the elite.

    Yeah.
    Chisora is set to "test" Usyk's heavyweight legitimacy in a couple of weeks too, and Usyk is practically being revered as a super-fighter.
    Chisora is very possibly regarded as Pulev's best win in the last 6 years too.

    Easy win over Chisora, undefeated in 20 fights, 3 successful defences of the European title.
    I have no wish to build up Kabayel but if a British fighter had Kabayel's record they'd all think he was the next big thing.

    I don’t think Kabayel is a bad opponent at all, I’ve said as such. What I don’t get is how can people calling Pulev a pudding but rate this lad highly.

    That's a very fair point, but like I mentioned before, I think much of the frustration comes from Pulev being the mandatory and has been lined up for ages, and will no doubt be hyped up by SKY as one of the world's absolute elite, while he's 39 years old.

    Whereas everyone knows Kabayel (who is 28) is coming in at 8 weeks notice because Wilder fight is off.
