I'm talking about current day Tyson Fury v the David Bey of the Tyrell Biggs fight, Bey was fresh off a victory over Greg Page and gave Olympic champion Biggs all kinds of trouble. How do you see this one playing out?
I think your underestimating Fury on this one, I'm talking about the modern day fart sauce knuckle dipping fury at the kronk gym with 40 percent extra power in his hands. Bey was a tough awkward customer who dealt with elite heavyweights like Page, Biggs, Holmes, and Berbick. He had that variation in his game that allowed him to adapt to the opposition, remember Olympic champion Biggs had to produce a desperate super human effort to halt the relentless Bey in that fight, would Fury be able to produce something similar, that is the question? I think if you were talking about olden day Fury that struggled with McDermot and Chisora 1, then i think Beys versatility would have taken this via a late stoppage by cut, but the modern day fart sauce dipping Fury would take this one imo as long as he kept Bey at distance and used his reach for the first 6 rounds using that pawed range finder jab. Modern day Fury by close but clear points verdict 116-112
I don't think thats necessarily true George, Fury has good wins over Vladimir Klitchsko and Wilder, also boxed very well in the 2nd Chisora fight and has underated wins in Chisora 1 and Steve Cunningham
Initially I was inclined to pick Bey, but I would take the current Fury to beat everyone on Bey's resume including his losses, except Holmes so I changed my mind and pick fury to stick and move for a points win. I think they're probably equally skilled but furys size advantage is hard to ignore
Fury, but yeah, Bey was underrated. Bey might beat even the Fury of a few years ago in an eating contest, though.
Can't agree on this. Page had all the talent and none of the dedication. Classic "which fighter am I watching" fighter.
