He already has beaten better lightweight and below fighters than Gayweather ever did. Who did Gayweather beat at light classes, an old Genaro Hernandez and bums like Victoriano Sosa and Henry Brusseles? All the while dodging Mosley, Freitas, Casamayor etc... lot of *****s on here

You can always tell the idiots who JUST STARTED following boxing, I swear.

Corrales and Castillo were better than anyone on Loma's resume.

Yeah, Floyd ducked Frietas to beat up the guy who would go on to batter Frietas and make him quit.

    Loma groupies are getting desperate.

Orlando Salido beat Lomachenko in his second pro fight coming off of 2 wars and still beat the hammer, sickle, and potatoes out of Vasyl like a boss. When is Loma gonna re-up on that rematch and avenge that ass whooping he took?

I feel that on the eye test Loma is there.

On resume, probably never. He doesn't have enough time.

I've thought about this and I say Loma needs about double his current wins to get a career that can compete with Floyd's. That's all of FMJ's wins if you subtract all the debuts and tomato cans and lesser journeymen.

Even then, FMJ would have beaten Salido, hard to get around that.

It would probably be more interesting to compare best wins (assuming Loma's is still in the future) or head to head.

Very far. But if he decisively defeated Shakur Stevenson, Haney, Tank, Berchelt, Diaz Jr., Farmer, and Lopez then he'd be in the conversation but probably still too far off to close the gap.

I like Loma a lot more as I like Floyd, but be real here... Loma has an amazing record for someone with only 15 fights under his belt, but he's far away from Floyd.

Quite far. One lives in America while the other in Ukraine.

Its really so hard to outdo Floyd Mayweather, he has it in many dimensions. He benefitted from a boxing lineage on both sides, great amateur upbringing, Top Rank protection early on, born in the right time, adoption by the IMF as their #1 Model.

It will take an organic Global War (more than just a controlled World war) and misery worldwide to create an environment where it will possible to outdo Floyd Mayweather, an impoverished broken Floyd salt/pepper marched into the ring in an Icelandic winter vs the top Danish Super Middleweight, a Semi-Auto ref strangling Floyd in breaks & warning him from excessively using his elbows to protect himself for the Great Dane straight forward brute.

The L on Lomachenko record will not look good in the future. They will not understand the circumstances and the dirty backstory of Orlando Salido, its beyond the comprehension of the Semi-Auto people of the future.

Truly so far, but Loma can outdo Floyd. If he values it more than anything, he will have to become a transitional boxer into the Semi-Auto era. Undergo lots of therapy to make the transition, Bob Arum will have to join him and team up for another century of Bravery...Some folks are already looking at Pacman as another candidate, Pacman is very brave an open to any therapy that will extend his boxing career.

Bob Arum promoting highly enhanced Loma vs Pacman can help Loma resume, the problem is that a religiously motivated Pacman reaching his prime might end-up winning most the rematches and Floyd resume gets that ATG credit into the next era. Bob Arum mind is still hungry for excellent future match-ups, visit his office and discuss these plans.

When it comes to skill they are probably in the same league.
When it comes to resume... he'd need to beat Lopez, Haney, Pacquiao, Berchlet and maybe Gervonta, to put a cherry on top he'd need to beat Taylor at 140

I'd say he's about halfway there, if he keeps on fighting for titles. Facing all of these guys before he's done may help make a case for being in the same category as FMJ: Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney, Miguel Berchelt, Gervonta Davis, Josh Warrington, Manny Pacquiao, Mikey Garcia.

Lmfao!! If pbfs resume isn't good then what is Lola's? Lomas best win is Gary Russell Jr let that sink in.
