Incorrect. I don't hate Fury. But I do hate PED cheats. And I do hate it when a "champion" avoids the best fighters possible and he instead picks the lowest hanging fruit. Then he tries to convince us that A. the bum he just fought was a great fighter (like Wallin) and B. that he is the best heavyweight ever (like Fury claims now). And you bring up the Klitschko fight that was 5 years ago. But I notice you will not talk about Fury being on steroids. Care to comment on that?

Kabayal has been knocking on the door for awhile now. He lost a lot of momentum through injury and contractual issues.

I don’t have a problem with this defense at all but I do believe hunter/Martin/hrgovic/Ajagba are harder fights for fury. But put yourself in fury’s shoes, why take a bigger risk and put a 3rd wilder or AJ fight in jeopardy?

it could be worse! Some those in the wba/wbo are **** poor opponents

I don't really care about the steroids. I think they are all on steroids.
Fury, Whyte, Ortiz, Povetkin have all been branded PED cheats but I'd be happy to watch any of them fight.

Riiiight. So you are ok with Fury fighting bums consistently and calling him the best?

Who cares what he calls himself? No fan is happy when any fighter faces poor opposition.

Don't get so wrapped up in wgat a boxer says in the media or in public. It's all a game.

I don't see him fighting bums consistently.
In his last 4 fights, he faced Wilder twice, and he was getting ready to fight him again.
(... and Twice you said he wouldn't face Wilder, you said he'd fake an injury and duck those fights).

Fury's the best of a poor bunch.

If you want to call Joshua the best, go ahead.

But let's be honest, Ruiz Jr. was rarely cited as a highly ranked fighter on the eve of the AJ fight, he was fairly low down on the list, and had a modest 21 KOs in 33 fights, (no one mentioned him as an elite puncher) and is a grossly fat guy with short arms, and has hardly any meaningful wins on his resume before AJ, nevermind KO credentials .......... if Fury was to be beaten up that badly by someone with that ranking, yeah, that would be a good reason to him to forfeit the #1 spot.
You would absolutely love it if Fury was to get bashed up from a short fat piece of **** like that.
    Maybe it will happen.
Maybe Fury will cherry pick a fat guy with short arms and a modest KO percentage, and get bashed up badly and quit.
But for now I'd say he's number one, yeah.

Considering Arum said he forgets Martins and Hunters name whilst talking about them as potential opponents on IFL I think its bound to be one of top rank 3 in Rivas, Kabayel and Ajagba.

Hopefully not Ajagba, who I think is the worst of those 3.

Rivas could probably be an easier fight than Kabayel. Rivas just plodded forward against Whyte.
Kabayel, I'm not sure how he'd do.

None of them are good fights.

At this rate, Dubois v Joyce could well be the most interesting heavyweight fight for the remainder of the year ..... and it's the one that isn't PPV.

I couldn't care less if he got beat by a bum or a good fighter. Just as long as he fought good fighters. Get it? And you guys love to bring up Ruiz in the first fight, but completely ignore the fact that AJ pitched a shut out in the second fight hahaha. And Furys resume? He has only fought 2 guys in the current top 30 right now. 2. That means he has successfully skipped over 27 guys. Yeah he fought Wilder twice but he also declined a career offer from Hearn to fight AJ for more belts. Now he wants to fight another bum and you are defending him? You are defending him more than he is defending his own belt (he has never defended a belt)

I'm more concerned that fight fans are calling Fury #1 all based off the Wilder win. And they are completely forgetting that Fury has done little else since the Klitschko fight and Nandrolone

Otto Wallin being mentioned a lot on Sky sports today. Easy fight for Fury minus the cut, casuals all know who he is and would probably get him in on the cheap.

I agree with you that he needed a big name for ppv. Its unlucky to be honest but it did feel he was going to take a risk to many. If it didn't happen against povetkin it would have been someone else.

If whyte is happy with the ppv money which he probably is then great. In hindsight he probably should have beaten povetkin anyway. Its a massive defeat because had he won that fight he probably gets fury in December.

Why are you concerned? What is concerning about it exactly?

It's concerning because they are praising a guy who is not only a steroid cheat, but a bum beating fraud. To say that a guy is the best heavyweight, and that guy refuses to fight the rest of the top contenders, is ridiculous. Imagine the Lakers of this year refusing to play the Eastern conference finalist or any of the good teams in the NBA. Would we say the Lakers were the best team? Imagine the University of Alabama only playing the worst teams possible, then they beat 2 good teams. Would we rank them #1?
