He was a very exciting fighter , aggressive come forward style the guy would hit the body and the head. He would live and die by the sword. The way he kept coming forward towards manny trying to bully him . Breaking a prime pacs ribs. The way he just bullied cotto walking him down ,cutting down the corners where ever cotto went. Beating the fight out of the fighter. A great example of mexican style . its ashame he has that controversial stain on his Legacy. Makes it feel like if Margarito the boogeyman pressure fighter was a mythical creature...

First fight of his I saw was the 2nd against cintron and I just thought.. Jesus christ this guys a monster... Why does he block with his face.... Got his career set after that n watched most of his fights... Great exciting relentless style.. Loved him cos he came across as nothing special but showed how well you could do with hard graft.... Had a bet with my friend he'd stop cotto in the 11th... Was cheering like **** (wish I'd had that at the bookies) ... Then the controversy happened... Was gutted

Nah, CJ's a good man. He's just a bit eccentric. Marg's wasn't bad, but not elite either. He was a huge, tough as ****, scathing puncher, who you couldn't deter no matter what you try. Out-working him was futile, and out-boxing him cleanly was difficult. The peak verison (whether he was wrapped or not, I don't care, I'm talking about that verison), was a better fighter than Hatton, Maidana, Ortiz, Cotto and a bag a guys from that era. But I've never thought that era was too special outside of May & Pac.

Someone like Bradley would've beaten him quite easily. The more I think about it, the more I'd rate Bradley as the fourth best man of that era.

He was no Mythical creature he was quite plainly RAILROADED. That lying POS & his non existant "Plaster Blocks" caused his good name & career to be tarnished. I know personally that in Cotto 1 his wraps were 100% clean I saw them wrapped myself along with the CSAC rep & Cotto's gang & they passed & signed off on them. Plus the pads for the Mosely fight were deemed HARMLESS by the lab that tested them so there has never been anything more than SUSPICION. What happened to Tony was diabolical there was NEVER any plaster. The CSAC & the late Nazim Richardson are the only ones that should have been investigated. Tony was a great guy & a damn good fighter Ive been happy & proud to know since 1999. Its a crying shame how damn corrupt this sport has become

I dont know about eccentric lol but I do KNOW for certain Antonio was 100% innocent of all they claimed. Ive never claimed he was an ATG but i know he was one hell of a tough guy & always gave 100% & the word quit was not in his vocabulary. I think we all know Mayweather should have fought him instead of Baldomir , as it was the fight everyone wanted after he demolished Cotto but was scared stiff to do so. We all saw that on the video's that appeared when Tony confronted him. Floyd was terrified.
I am certain in my own mind Tony would have been too strong for Floyd & Floyd knew it. Plus I think that Nazim Richardson should have been questioned about his blatant "Plaster Blocks" lie. But the only ones able to do that was the CSAC & if we are honest we all know that is where the corruption thats ruining the sport stems End of Sermon!!

Ive known him from 1999 probably longer than youve been on this earth & certainly before George was even born lol. Last time I saw him physically was at the Pac fight in Texas but hear he's doing OK. Really he should never have fought again after Pac but he was convinced he could beat Cotto again.
I believe he was right Cotto still couldnt legitimally beat a one eyed opponent that lousy doc had to save Cotto quitting AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
