Why are Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev ducking each other?

    Because Artur knows they have to wait while Oscar gets Canelo off his sedative medication after they broke the news to canelo he may have to go into a ring facing Arur with no back up...Consequently Canelo launched a legal battle against Oscar as his nappy was soaked through thinking of artur feating on him

    Beterbiev 15-0

    Won his IBF strap in Nov 2017 against a German

    Was out for almost a whole year due to being embroiled in a legal dispute with his promoter

    Made the first and second defences of his world title against a Brit and a Serbian/American and then jumped into a unification match up with WBC champ Gvozdyk who is Ukrainian

    Been out for a year due to Covid and injury

    Gvozdyk won his WBC off of a Haitian/Canadian in their backyard, made one defence against a French/Congolese before jumping into a unification match up against Russian Beterbiev in just his second defence

    Bivol has made 5 defences of his title, against a Cuban, a Malawian, a Haitian/Canadian, an American, and a Dominican

    The only decent American LHWs out there are Smith, Browne, and to a lesser extent Hart and Bivol already pretty much schooled Smith, Browne got bounced up and down off the canvas and stopped by Bivol victim Pascal albeit he'd already been exposed by Beterbiev victim Hot Rod but naturally the US judges decided to rob the EE born fighter again as they so often do, and Hart got battered by Smith.

    If that's the case if I'm Beterbiev I would be gunning for Bivol's title with time not being on his side.

    I really hope we see this fight at 175. The winner will undoubtedly be put in a great position to unify all titles.

    Canelo dropped the WBO title, so it doesn't look like he is fighting at 175 for the time being.

    Arum said/has been saying, that they a meant to fight after Beterbiev defends his belt. Beterbiev is injury prone though.

    Well its funny, Beterbiev, Bivol, and Kovalev all won world titles on the same month almost three years ago. All three Russians have not seemed too eager to fight each other in those three years. Seems odd.

    The LHW division is always a little unloved in the US but surely after the Smith fight Bivol must have about as much hype here as an Eastern European LHW can have without a Canelo fight.

    Only when it suits. This one doesnt, Arum has plenty in house fights that sell as well or better than Bivol.
