Some interesting ones this months; British Titles Cruiserweight - Deion Jumah vs Billam Smith 21 November (MR) Cruiserweight - Mikael Lawal Watkins (Purse Bids) Light Heavyweight - Shakan Pitters vs Craig Richards 14 November (MH) Super Middleweight - Lerrone Richards vs William Hutchinson (Purse Bids) - assume will be sorted in house Middleweight - Denzil Bentley vs Mark Heffron 14 November (QP) Eliminator Super Welterweight - Scott Fitzgerald vs James Metcalf (Purse Bids) Welterweight - Chris Jenkins vs Ekow Essuman (Puse Bids) - Assume sorted in house Welterweight - Liam Taylor vs Chris Kongo Eliminator (Purse Bids) Featherweight - Reece Mould vs Leigh Wood (Purse Bids) Flyweight - Tommy Frank vs Kyle Youssef 20 November (DH) English Titles Super Bantamweight - Michael Ramabeletsa vs Shabaz Masoud (FW) Date to be advised Super Flyweight - Craig Derbyshire vs Quaise Khadem (Purse bids) Some really good fights to made in this. Leronne Richards vs Willy Hutchinson is an absolute screamer.
Really good fight, hopefully it actually goes to purse bids and neither side withdraws. Good to see Quaise Khademi getting a step up as wel.
Deion Jumah vs Chris Billam Smith is my pick of the bunch. I'm a fan of Chris and this could be a great fight. So it's confirmed for the Whyte vs Povetkin undercard then? Not sure if/when Scott Fitzgerald can fight. Noticed that one has no date listed for the purse bids. Scott is going to court in December, it was the 15th Dec of I remember right for his trial date.
Really looking forward to this trio of fights. This is what the British title should be about. If Jenkins (via Frank Warren's alleged refusal) refused to fight Benn as other posters suggested then would he be stripped of the title? Looks like a mega duck from Hearn and Benn.
Some good fights in there. Surprised to see Luke Watkins in a British title eliminator, I thought he was Irish.
Mould. I knew gill and wood were mates. But no reason why gill should pull out of the purse bid for mould.
So, it's confirmed, Benn after all his British title talk, after Sky slinging up "who do you want to see Benn fight for the British title" basically forgetting there is a champion. After Hearn saying they will go purse bids and get Conor the British title shot, they pull out? Because if Benn didn't pull out and Jenkins refused to fight Benn he would have been stripped so what do we call this? Because in my opinion if this was the other way around we'd be saying "Jenkins has ducked Benn". Hearn would be on IFL within minutes telling Kugan "nobody wants to fight Conor, it's hard to get him fights, nobody wants to fight one of the best young fighters in the UK... " and all that sort of crap. It has to be called a duck in my opinion, Benn and Hearn have given it the large for months and have ducked out.
