Does Ray have a chance or does he just get schooled?

I’ll be honest, I think Ray wins here, based solely on the fact that Locche doesn’t have the offensive capability to scare Ray at all,

He didn’t scare many, if any, of his opponents with his offensive capability. Didn’t stop most of them from getting schooled.

Good fight. I think Mancini was underrated but I think his fully committed style would play right into the neutralising style of Locche

Mancini had more desire to fight and expend whatever energy it took. Loche can slip head shots but Ray would have zoned in on that body.

He left virtually nothing open on his body. His guard more often than not left his head completely unchecked while keeping his body fully covered. His stance was a bladed one that further minimized openings. He was highly adept at catching and parrying shots, not just slipping and rolling them. He was also clearly very strong/sturdy in a clinch, and when he initiated one it broke up the action completely, almost always leading to a break and reset.

That’s not to say that nobody is having inside success or success to the body against him. Just that I seriously doubt Ray Mancini is the one to expose any weakness in there.

Loche would have punch at some point as well. Those are opportunities. Combination, shifting over/under and under over.

So you think Mancini is winning a tit for tat chess match with Locche?

I can see the argument for Mancini giving him issues, but I tend to think that Locche wins with little issues.

Locche outboxes Mancini silly. Mancini didn't have the speed, firepower, or finesse to deter Locche.

    Locche completley humiliates Mancini.

If it was in Argentina it would end in a draw.

Because apparently every fight in Argentina ended in a draw.

Locche had 14 draws on his record.

Yeah, the old scoring system in South America was pretty peculiar.

I imagine they wanted to clear up controversy, by making it so that every 'close' fight was a draw. Only problem with that is that by more than four points so it isn't classed as 'close'. I guess that means it's impossible to win a 4 round fight unless it's by KO. Right?

I'm sure you already knew this (if you didn't, sorry, I don't want to be patronising or anything either way) but seriously. Can you win a four round fight on PTS without some form of penalty on opponent's side?
