AJ has a suspect chin and stamina. 41 year old Wlad nearly put him out. The star of the division usually beats the older guys with ease. He has 6 rounds to get inside of Fury and do something.

Pretty much this. He will try to box early doors, then when it goes downhill he needs to just throw the sink at Fury.

Fury will then stop him mid fight when he is blowing hard like he did against Wlad.

Wilder threw more punches and missed more because Fury is good at slipping shots if you don`t feint him out of position first.

Yes and no. Fury doesn't really hit harder enough to take AJ out with one or two big punchers. AJ has a finishing right hand, and he has proven it has power form rounds 1-12. If he lands one of those, Fury will be in la-la land, I guarantee it.

Ak and Fury are close in age. Let the fans see the fight.

Hold up, you give credit to Fury for getting up and getting the Job done the disrespect Aj for doing the same SMH
Agree with the Gold I felt he lost 2 fights
Never bought the belt off Martin, AJ just got there first
As for Ruiz, well at short notice AJ was not prepared. Notice the difference when he was? its not all about KOing sometimes you have to do it dirty ala Fury and Wlad stop them fighting their fight.

No Wilder has more power than AJ and AJ has taken a number of punches to knock out lesser fighters, he can`t take out Fury with one shot and hasn`t scored many one punch KO`s, he didn`t knock Whyte out with one shot while Povetkin did and Povetkin more or less stopped Takam with one shot while AJ couldn`t and he couldn`t stop Povetkin with one shot either, AJ has never displayed one punch KO power v a top 10 fighter.

AJ was all over the place when he got up v Wlad and was saved by the bell, Fury backed off a bit took a massive hook flush on the jaw while Wlad missed six follow up hooks v AJ, then Fury caught Wilder with a big hook and pushed him back for the rest of the round, plus when AJ was floored he was not out cold, no way can AJ take Wilder`s power.

No need to talk to anybody that sincerely believes that aj has any chance against fury. He would get outjabbed and koed by round 7-8.
Aj would get killed by wilder too, he is the worst star of boxing since mike tyson and it just shows you how little knowledge people on here have about boxing.
Wilders only loss(es) came against the guy who ended the klitschko reign and is a behemoth. Aj lost to a fat little mexican that would be a supermiddle weight or lhw if he would get in decent shape.

You’ve left off wlad chisora and wilder. Include them an it’s a very acceptable record, they were comeback fights you mentioned. You think now he’s got the title he’ll swerve Joshua an anyone dangerous? Wrong, they don’t want it with him

I see no reason to believe Fury is on steroids.

    And either

    1) They're all on something, and they all take it or else risk being crushed by those who are.

    or

    2) You can make anyone fail a test these days when it's convenient to get rid of them, and maybe it's because of all the crap that's in the supplements they take (Which is bound to make little abnormalities happen here and there).

Fury fights either total bums or 1 decent fight in 3-4 years, so I don't think he will be beaten soon or ever. He is close to mid 30s and probably will fight AJ at some point and retire before a better crop of HWs arrives.
    Current division is horrible.
If prime Mike Tyson would fight Fury's competition he would beat them all by KO in 2 rounds. Maybe old Wlad would hold on for a bit longer.

AJ is more skilled than Wilder and will throw more counters, Wilder was really clumsy against Fury and his corner had no advice at all.

Mark, AJ has more of a strength, heavy handedness type of power whereas Wilder has a whipping catapult type of power. It's like comparing RJJ and GGG at middleweight. It's a different type of power. How many fighters genuinely show 1 punch KO power against top class opponents. It's a very short list which is why many were so excited by Wilder. In any case, you could argue that Wilder has never KO'd a genuinely durable world class fighter. As I've said, if he somehow KO'd Ruiz with one punch that would really be something.

Anyway, AJ doesn't need to KO people out with one punch. He just needs to hurt them and then he's a great finisher with hard, accurate combinations ala the Povetkin fight. Yes he came unstuck against Ruiz but that was one fight where he didn't really look himself from the off and he didn't respect what a great chin Ruiz has. I think Fury has to fight a very good fight to beat AJ - he certainly can't fight the way he did against Wilder in the last fight, even though it was successful for him, as that plays into AJ's hands. He has to fight the way he did against Wlad and be elusive and on the move. If AJ lands and hurts him, it could be very dangerous as Joshua is more than a 1 punch pony.

?? Povetkin has a top Chin, Aj laid him out with one big right hand, Wilder never Ko'd a top ten contender under the age of 36. His Ko % is built up on weaker opponents. AJ fought much better talent.

Fury would be taking a huge risk fighting on the front foot v AJ but I feel Fury is tougher and more proven toe to toe, even in the first fight with Wilder he proved that after being floored in the final round, AJ is more fragile than Fury, AJ more or less quit v Ruiz, no way would Fury have spat out his gumshield like that, AJ has admitted that before big fights he feels like turning around and giving up at the start of the ring walk due to the pressure of the occasion, Fury is always mentally ready before before fights and as the first bell goes, AJ might crack in a knock down drag out war.
