Look, I have been predicting that it will be Kabayel for months. I would like to see it over Wilder.

I in no way think this is an unreasonable position. Kabayel is ranked, credible, skilled, and a fresh face. I do not think he could beat Fury, but there is the X-factor of being new.

Wilder is damaged goods. He brings nothing to the table at this point. A third fight is pointless. It is a waste of everyone's time except the five or six fans Wilder has remaining to him. Additonally, Wilder might be seriously injured this time.

    I AM NOT SAYING:

Kabayel is better than Wilder. He might be, as he actually knows how to jab and circle, but I don't know. He is new, and that is kind of the point.

Kabayel is better than Fury. I do not believe that he is. But he is ranked and credible for a fight.

Kabayel is the best guy out there. That would be Hunter. But Kabayel will get it because he is an in house guy, and that is just reality. Kabayel is the second best...certainly better than Martin, Rivas or Ejagba.

So, is my reasoning just flawed?

Kabayel isn't fit to lace the bomb squad's boots.

My personal preference would be Rivas however .Rivas lost and was outboxed by whyte.
    Ajaba too green

Hunter . we know that won't happen.....

Wilder or Kabayel? Hmm i would prefer the wilder fury trilogy over kabayel yes. However if does not happen. Kabayel did beat chisora he is tall as well . and would be one of furys best opponents to date no doubt about that. .

I can see your logic its not a bad fight . kabayel just isnt known by the public . that's why they think hes just another scrub lol

I think your reasoning is sound, but it's not a fight I particularly want to see. I also don't think Agit is better than Rivas.

The problem isn't he versus Wilder. Wilder's already been soundly beaten so that was just a contractual matter, it either came off or it didn't and thankfully it didn't.

However, there are loads of guys from the legit top ten available - Rivas, Hunter, Ruiz. He should fight someone from the top ten, not someone from the WBC's top fifteen, that's a joke.

Still, there's nothing wrong with a keep busy fight while he waits for what is likely to be one of the biggest purses in boxing history.

I disagree with Kabayel being a good opponent, but I do agree that there's no need for a 3rd Wilder fight.

I would like to see Hunter in there with Fury.

I like Rivas better no doubt however the thing with it is Rivas was outboxed by whyte ... Rivas was just plodding forward lol . kabayel is tall that's what i like about him in this match up .

    Rivas beat jennings.

    Kabayel beat chisora.

Their resumes aren't really that much apart.

Well if it goes wrong and he loses to some random, tough ****. If Fury wins but Pulev beats Joshua, Fury fights Pulev, Whyte/Povetkin or Wilder.

    All very very easy.

I disagree with the part of Wilder being damaged goods. I would not mind a 3rd fight eventually.
I am interested to see if Wilder can change or not.

But yes, Kabayel is the next best thing... besides Hunter. But Kabayel is with TR so I see why he is next, and I am fine with it.
On paper, Kabayel would be one of Fury's better opponents: Wlad, Wilder, Chisora, Cunningham... Wallin?
Fury barely beat Wlad, struggled with Wallin, nealy got KTFO by Wilder, had to go through hell with Cunningham.
Fury needs to keep facing good opposition and Kabayel is just that.

    The problem is twofold:

1- he holds the WBC belt and they are going to say it has to be from the WBC top 15.

2- A lot of these other guys you want to see are booked. Ruiz is not, but will not be fighting until next year, as he is rebuilding with his new trainer.

By the way, I think Rivas is a horrible fight. He is coming off a loss, is diminutive for a heavy, and, many people have forgotten, but is going blind in one eye.
