Right on! Stanislaw Kiecal or Stanley Ketchel. He fought under the U.S. flag naturally but fans around the world are often aware of his heritage.

Yes it does, so if you make the 35 you truly are very special.

Maybe so, but if he was named the Belfast spider, it's good enough for me.

As I understand, McClarnin’s birthplace has been verified as Hillsborough, County Down, Northern Ireland.

Yes. Golota would also be an ATG just in the country of Poland, except maybe that Poland is not even proud of him.

I think Michaelczewski was a very solid guy ...he won the linear title eventually...didnt get that jones fight...only lost at 35...than retired...ive never seen the tiozzo fight but thought the gonzalez scoring was off.....yes i think he should make a hall of fame...but given his low profile in the states i think itll be 10 -15 years before they bestow the award on him.

Greece is lacking any greats, closest is Anton Christoforides. Have Mike Zambidis in K1 but lacking big names for a country that you'd expect to have

Actually, Golota is a cult figure in Poland, always has been. His people love him there, he put the country on the boxing map. Golota is a Polish idol of millions. He will remain their legend and most revered fighting name.

Rose for sure, but I'd even sooner have Fenech at the top of their list.
