The Casamayor fight was a bad decision, and he could only beat a after their great war coz Corrales aged worse. Johnston was going life and death, losing to and/or barely beating an old Alejandro Gonzalez, Cesar Bazan and Juan Lazcano. He out and out ducked Nazarov, and his best result is the draw with Castillo.

As for Johnston, he was quite good.

Had a nice win over Sharmba Mitchell on the way up, beat Nazarov's conqueror Mendy in the latter's backyard, defended a few times before losing a dubious decision to a perfectly serviceable Bazan which was promptly avenged. The Gonzalez win was actually underrated since Alejandro was coming off wins over Salido and Forbes going into the fight, and because Johnston was past his peak at that point. Pretty nice run , especially for someone who needed to rely on guile and skill to win his fights.

 

Pacquiao met Margarito with intense firepower and work rate, hurting and slowing him down. And even then Margarito was coming forward until the final round. If Pacquiao hadn't broken his orbital bone in the fourth, Margarito might very well have stopped Pac.

Floyd wouldn't have been able to hurt Margarito and would have to evade a fresh Margarito for a full 12 rounds.

You act is if pbf is some bum who will just stand in front of margo who fades and takes punishment. He does not fight like that. Margo is too slow of both hand and foot to mount a successful offense against pbf who can out maneuver Margo at will. Pbf would beat that mummy to the punch all night long and be gone and if he chooses to fight off his back foot Margo really would look stupid. The difference in speed reflexes and skill is too great.

So in the end Margo walking through shots means nothing those are still scoring punches.
