My official prediction: Loma by early KO in a fight that is completely one-sided. Lopez to cry like a girl in the ring, maybe get surly and leave without an interview or giving props. Lopez will have no real game-plan and will simply not know what to do at all. His daddy is going to look real stupid shouting rubbish too. Loma will just do what Loma does. It's not his fault there is a lack of real legitimate opponents at 135. Loma’s easiest nights work and he will be nonchalant in his after-fight interview and just say something like ‘I beat you all, please come be my guest’ or something like that.

I wouldn’t be surprised at a first round KO by Loma.


Lopez does not have even a quarter of the experience needed to face the top guy in a division, let a lone face Loma. He has literally not faced any kind of test or opponent where he has had to adjust to anything whatsoever. His power alone has got him through to today. Where does power alone get you? It gets you freaking Ohara Davies. C’mon.


Loma, with his 400 amateur fights and his professional career, has clearly faced every single kind of opponent possible. He clearly is the most experienced fighter active today. He has seen everything, and many fighters have good or great power. Fighters with power are a dime a dozen. Not only will this be nothing new to Loma but it will also be something so simple to him that casuals will be asking ‘what the hell did Lopez do to deserve to be in the ring with Loma?’ and they will be right in asking that. This will not be a walk-over, it will be a humiliating destruction.


Loma has too much experience to get caught with a ‘lucky punch’ and Lopez does not have enough experience to land something ‘lucky’. Loma will dissect Lopez from the first second to the last, which may all take place in the first round.
