He knows Haney is the winnable fight there, he’s waiting for Tank to out-eat LW. Tank needs to stay away from Burger King.

Yeah I agree, Loma should have pressed earlier and not let Lopez settle that easily but I honestly believe he was waiting for Lopez to fade and the sting to go from his shots.

And they did for a few rounds, but by them Lopez was well ahead and just about managing the fight, sealed it with a great 12th and the right result in my opinion.

But the cards were too wide.

If he didn't believe that he could do what was necessary to win the fight he shouldn't of taken the fight, he was never going to win by running for half the fight.

Cool, you cling to that, I’ll rest over in the real world. Sorry your boy lost, I picked Loma as well, I was wrong...clearly, definitively, emphatically. Sorry you can’t admit the same.

Oh, was I the only one laughing when ESPN went nuts over an uppercut Teo threw, only for the highlight to show it didn´t land(it and the followup punch as well)?
It was at the end of some round.

Davis looked like **** against old one legged Gamboa, Lopez got tagged by lb for lb #1 guy, and there is no shame in that

A delayed start up is a wonderful strategy, but I will never understand those who delay it further than the 5th round. You have lost the fight if you do so, you have given it for free. How many times top fighters have made this mistake? never, ever, ever after the 5th round. NEVER. I just cant understand.

The decision could be defended. I don't have a problem with Lopez getting the nod. If you examine my RBR scoring, I gave Lopez all of the first 6.

    I couldn't give him any of 7 through 11.

So yes, they may have had the right winner, but they got the scores wrong.

    119-109 ???

A shame one horrible card will forever be stained on the name of Lopez, for no fault of his own. Hell of a performance. Humble pie has to be eaten by a lot of "real fans" including myself if I qualify. At least the cards got it right.

116-112 Teo. Great fight by Teo, didn’t think he could win a decision. Phenomenal 12th round by the kid, very impressive. Loma looked really leary of the right hand for the first half of the fight. Teo’s power was very evident, hard body shots, were moving Loma back and Loma was way too tentative. I think he was surprised by Teo’s handspeed. Good fight by Lopez, man. Didn’t see tit unfolding the way it did. Props to Lopez, the kid can really fight. Wow.

Tank would be too small vs Lopez as well. I highly doubt Floyd will ever put him in with Lopez.
