Loma lost the twelfth. 90 seconds in, it was his - but by the final bell, it had been ripped away from him.
I had Lomachenko winning from the 8th to the 11th. 8-4 Lopez. Best outcome for Loma is 7-5 if you give him the second.
This is my scorecard, with really nothing close enough to say "Loma could win this round" or "Lopez could win that round", pretty cut and dry.
It was close, so I understand those who scored it for Lopez. There were two main stories of the fight - Lopez able to just shut down Loma from even trying early on - Loma battering Lopez later on It was a hell of a fight. I give Lopez credit for not taking a knee in the eighth or eleventh. He got battered. Also, he was exhausted in the 10th and so did that low blow or whatever. Lopez never hurt Loma in any real way, but he took some punishment himself. I'd love to see it again, even if Lopez is much larger.
1: Lopez 2: Loma 3: Lopez 4: Lopez 5: Lopez 6: Lopez 7: Lopez 8: Loma 9: Loma 10: Loma 11: Loma 12: Lopez 115 - 113 Lopez I thought the official cards were a bit wide but no doubt about the winner
