    Loma is a great 126 pounder . however this fight showed me he is not as skilled as Mayweather . not the on the level of Duran ,Chavez,Pacquaio.

    Loma did the right thing not thinking of moving up to 140 .

    Based on how the fight turned he might win a rematch. Its a little early to write him off, and some of those guys you mentioned lost fights, too.

    I personally believe he's a better fighter than Chavez sr, I saw most of his career and lets just say he had a lot of careful matchmaking until around 1990. He definitely stepped up his level of competition afterward and had a mixed bag of results. Loma IMO is definitely the superior fighter to JCC which is no knock on Chavez.

    The other guys listed IMO are better fighters though. I always wondered what Loma would've looked like had he turned pro after winning his first gold medal. He probably wouldn't have been in such a rush to jump into championship level fights so early.

    By the time Pacquiao was 32 he was a certified ATG. Loma is 32 now and just lost yet again . He will never reach Pacquiao’s level

    JCC would beat the ballet lessons outta Loma.

    Oh, yeah, I totally agree but I'm just saying, if this is only about Lopez, we gotta be real about it and emit Pac ain't exactly Mayweather.

    It's the truth. When he wasn't drained, he was taking flush heavy shots from huge punchers like the likes of Cotto, Clottey, Morales, Barrera, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez (especially the roided version that detonated a nuke), etc..
