Does John Riel Casimero have a chance to upset Naoya Inoue, much like what Lopez did to Loma?

Casimero has been doing a lot of talking about Inoue and he is confident that he can beat and possibly KO Inoue, much like with how Teo knew that he could win. If a fight between Inoue and Casimero were to be made at some point does anyone else think that Casimero can actually pull off what Lopez did to Loma? It would definitely not be out of the question, that’s for sure.

I'm a fan of both fighters and I definitely see this as 50/50. Casimero is powerful, unorthodox and is not easy to hit.

Much like how Loma was supposed to school and beat up Lopez but look how that turned out. At this point anything is possible, and Casimero might just be that guy to shock Inoue given his confidence, dangerous power, and tricky style...or maybe not. Wont know until it actually happens.

I picked Lopez by KO. Regardless, the difference here is that Inoue has the firepower AND granite chin along w/ elite skills to neutralize and destroy Casimero. And Casimero won't be 2 divisions bigger. If Lomachenko had heavy hands, he would have wrecked Lopez.

Inoue is a fighter that's looked good because of his opps. Weak opps.I kid you not.Not one can crack except old Donaire. Casi's power is different from Nonito he takes your equilibrium away. Now, I think Inoue is favorite but wont be shocked Casimero puts a masterful performance and stops Inoue.

Im gonna come out and say it. Im a casimero fanboy. Do i think he can win? **** yeah. Do i expect it? No. I play safe when it comes to picking. That said casimero is easily inoue's second best opponent. There is no question he will come in having no mental pressure courtesy of fighting in his opponent's backyard most of the time. Its also dumb to just label him a one dimensional slugger. He knows when to fight careful and when he can afford to be reckless.

Casimero's skills are quite underrated the more I watch his fights. He has a punchers mentality but he's also very crafty in an unorthodox and sometimes wild way, which makes him such a unique fighter. He doesn't just fight one way, he'll switch up his style depending on the opponents, as shown in the Tete fight where he mostly backed up and measured him before unloading a big shot.

Honestly, this is the next big fight that needs to happen and should get more exposure and attention. Inoue vs Casimero is guaranteed to have excitement, skills, power, and possibly not going the distance. Not to mention that a major upset is likely. Casimero really sounds like he wants the fight bad.

Nonito Donaire has heavy, heavy hands. Most likely harder hitting than Casimero. Why you hating on Inoue? Is it the hatred towards the Japanese by the Filipinos?

Casimero throws wild, wide, looping punches. Against a hard hitting sniper like Inoue, that's a recipe for disaster. On the other hand, such wildness can be difficult to tame.

Nordine Ouballi wrecks them both. But yeah Jon Riel has the tools to stop Inoue, will he? I dont think so.

I have the same problem here. I'm a big fan of both. I would like both of them to win, and that's not possible. Too bad.

Only when he has absolute no respect for his opponent. Like i said he's not one dimensional as he looks. He knows when to back off and when to explode. He wasnt wild against tete, ruenroeng or guevarra. He knows how to set traps when he knows his opponent is technically superior or stronger. When he moved to 118 i was skeptical not because of his skills but because he wont carry his power but we all know that's not the case anymore
