    Of course size matters, but most important factor in the sport? No. Linares and Campbell were both bigger than Lopez, but the gulf in skill was far too much for them.

    We’re talking size differential in terms of in or around a fighter’s weight class. Nobody would ever match a man of Lomas stature with a SMW that’s just ridiculous.

    If size is the most important factor , how does Loma beat 5'11 Robert Easter Jr?

    Why didn't Rocky Fielding beat Canelo?

    Every great in history fought in contests with unequal size, and many of the great contests involved one fighter going up in weight. Silly thread.

    So size is the most important factor. Loma is about 10 pounds smaller than Lopez in natural size. And just those 10 pounds were huge factor in the fight.

    Size is the single most important factor in the sport of boxing. It's so important that we have weight classes (17 of them) to try and limit the impact of size.

    Because Easter is skinny. Put Loma in with Caleb Plant. Put him in with Yunier Dorticos. He wouldn't last a single round.

    Of course size is the biggest factor. I'm shocked we are even debating this.

    It was a little advantage, but they were so similar in size that ability was the biggest reason why Loma beat Russell.

    now lomo fans comparing that with rigo? man, rigo had never fought at that weight before. Actually, rigo had never fought at the previous weight either. 2 full weights up, and the first fight.

    Loma was the champion of this weight and has been fighting there for a while.

    Please, stop embarrasing yourselves.
