I think there are things that both of them can learn from each other to make each other better fighters.

There's parallels between both of them in certain ways. On the other hand, Wilder isn't as good a boxer and Loma doesnt have the man's instincts, power and will to win. It seems both of them have things that the other needs. Is there a discussion that needs to take place here?

    Wilder and Lomachenko.

    Discuss.

I thought Wilder fanboys were delusional...

Then Va-SILLY Lose-a-chenko fan-girls made them look like they don't even care!

Both are Olympic medalists. They also have the same identical path to ATG heaven

    ATG alternative paths for Loma
    • Undisputed Champion at any division
    • Beat every man he faced
    • World record title defenses at any division
    ATG alternative paths for Wilder
    • Undisputed Champion at any division
    • Beat every man he faced
    • World record title defense at any division

Wilder might not make the cut man. Loma is a bonafide HOF'er.

    They should.

Lomachenko could teach Wilder how to throw a jab and Wilder could teach Loma how to be 6'7.

Trying to conflate Wilder with Loma is ridiculous.

Nice try though, Wilder might retire tomorrow, mentally shot.

I dont know, I think that the problem is that Lomachenko is a know-it-all. And that eveybody tells him that his footwork is awesome and blahblah.... And actually all that praise is hurting his boxing skills, because he thinks that it cannot be improved, when we saw yesterday that he has margin for improvement.

I think that if Lomachenko were a little bit more humble, he could ask for help to Wilder, and learn something new to add to his footwork. Clearly the problem with Loma is that he's not humble enough. "Man, Wilder, why dont you help me a bit with the footwork?" that's not so hard to say, dude, if only he were a little bit more humble....

But fighters are stubborn, you know? he could have won yesterday but.... well. Sad.

Both are equally in the same position today, although they come pouring from diff upstream paths

Loma came from the deep state of boxing and broke down obstacles systematically both in amateurs and pros using his aggregate intel of everything.

Deontay Wilder is a bigger than life Populist Alpha-male leader who smashed his way to the throne against all odds in both in the Olympics and Pros.

Both are exceptional and will find a way to exceed our expectations

    Wilder best wins are;

Ortiz - who only has one notable win his whole career 5 years ago only against Jennings

Duhaupas- just a durable Euro level gate keeper.

Washington - An average HW who troubled Wilder because he has a half decent jab. Who lost every round to Chalres Martin before Martin KOed him.

Spzilka - a small, glass jawed Euro level fighter who gave Wilder trouble with his half decent movement. Who Chisora made very easy and short work of.

All of AJ, Fury, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz and Pulev all have better resumes than Wilder. No one in their right mind should be considering Wilder a potential hall of fame candidate. Closer to charles Martin level than HOF.

Apart from coming off losses I see no similarities between the two. Loma is younger, has a far better reume, far more accomplished and it's very easy to see Loma is by far the more talented fighter. Loma unlike like Wilder has options to become WC again ( at several different weights). There's no way back for Wilder now.

I see you have the Adrien Broner multi-weight-class achievement as an ATG requirement, very bad news for Marvin Hagler, Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano
