I might have been the only one, but I was really looking forward to this fight.

Savannah Marshall now on the undercard. Rescheduled World title fight. I bet the Allen fight will be rescheduled for Whyte/Povetkin or AJ.

We will get a few more of these.. there will be changes that are "no fault of our own" and Hearn will spin it like he has "saved" us all and "saved" the show, got fighter "paid before Christmas" by getting late replacement fights so the event could go ahead and they will be really poor fights.

Remember We are being promised, like we should be grateful that Martin Murray or Rocky Fielding will be on one of these cards.. that's a reason not to buy it by the way, it's beyond insulting.

But these cards are all poor, seriously poor for PPV events, just look at this Chisora Vs Usyk card..

    Chisora Vs Usyk MAIN EVENT

Lee Selby Vs Kambosos CHIEF SUPPORT

    McCarthy Vs Laggoune

Marshall Vs Rankin (I thought that was Off, after Peter Fury tested positive but still listed, why is this still listed?)

    Timlin Vs Skelly

    Dave Allen Vs TBA

Expect Dave Allen in with somebody Tom Little (lost his last 4) or at a push, if they are really struggling then Babic... have a slight feeling Hearn will have to drag Babic out to "save" this PPV with Hearns "savage".

But come on, Really? That's what qualifies as PPV now? 10 days to go and that's a PPV event? Hearn, Matchroom and Sky are seriously taking the pee with this now, it either has to free to air or just cancelled.

These 3 PPVs they are doing over the next 2 months should have been rolled in to 2 at best, but they have spread these so thin it's genuinely embarrassing.

Oh wow, just seen Dave Allen calling out Lenroy Thomas, LENROY THOMAS? even though Thomas has a November 21st date.

Really, has British Boxing sunk this low? In an era of Fury, AJ and a few other fighters that are good, we have sunk to the level of Dave Allen calling out Lenroy Thomas for a PPV event?

That's what we are now and that's what we get? F YOU HEARN AND YOU TOO ADAM SMITH.

Adam Smith deserves dogs abuse also, he gives the "OK" to these events, Sky sell this crap.

We really must start boycotting these events, honestly, just don't buy them, sure you might miss one fight you would have liked to watch but you will catch the finish on YouTube or Twitter within minutes..

I know it isn't the same as watching it live, I know it kills any kind of buzz but this can't continue.

Also, I'm not suggesting for a moment anybody does anything illegal (and remember it is illegal) like streaming fights but you can understand why people do it, well I can understand, this is beyond a joke now.

Hearn deserves all the abuse he gets for this one. I don't care how good the fights are, what happens, the fact this has been served up as a PPV event is disgusting, truly unforgivable.

    This just can't carry on.

Why didn't Hearn and Sky just squash this together with the Whyte Vs Povetkin rematch?

Two heavyweight fights, add a couple of the "decent" fights and sure, I would accept that as a PPV event, not great, not unmissable but it would be a solid enough card.

Then throw the rest of the poor fights on Sky Sports Main for free one Saturday? Pay those fighters, everybody is happier.

I just do not understand why they think for a second this is a PPV event, it's a joke, it's just disgusting.

I agree, I can't see this doing great number but..

The pandemic is starting to pick up again, things shutting down, people have nowhere to go, stuck in on a Saturday night.

People will get a few beers in, a pizza and buy it because there is nothing else to watch and just make an evening of it, also no football that evening, Liverpool Vs West Han kicks off at 5:30 so that will be finished.

So I think it won't be a disaster, but this is the point, they are professionals, they are business people, they know this, they know people will be bored and just cave in.

Naaaaah, Bakole Kills Dave Allen and I won't change that word.. Kills.

Wardley smacks him around, Babic beats him up..

    And Zhang? Zhang?

Oh no doubting bakole beat him easily but I just want to see Bakole back.

Allen would be Babics and Wardleys best win yet and yes they would be big favourites.

Zhang looked decent against a low Euro level opponent in Rudenko ( and displayed a good jab) and I am intrigued to see again. I would back Zhang against Allen too.

Hammer would actually be an easier opponent than the above for Allen despite Hammer being favourite.

    Yeah I agree, good post.

Bakole needs a big fight, I'm not sure if it is just difficult getting him fights or Hearn just isn't that bothered and is more concerned with the other heavyweights, I'm not sure what to make of what's going on with him.

Hearn had Hunter and let him go because he wasn't a "name" and didn't do big ticket sales, same with Ortiz, looks like it is the same attitude with Bakole.. but we get Dave Allen, David Price, Tom Little and others on PPV cards.

We are getting the same with Hrgovic, where is he? He is being mentioned in the same breath as Babic.. that's just insulting.

To me, Hearn to me is like big premier league clubs buying up young players they don't really want or plan to use but don't want other clubs having them, in this case promoters.

I think Hearn should be really pushing for Bakole Vs Dubois/Joyce winner in that FW meeting if it ever happens, let Bakole fight on BT, because he doesn't seem to be sticking him on any big cards on Sky. He should be hyping that up now.

Get Bakole on a card late this year and try and put pressure on Dubois/Joyce to take the fight. Just try to do something with him.

As for Zhang, again, I think that's more of a commercial signing than a legitimate "I think he can do something" signing, Hearn is looking at the Chinese market and dipping a toe in, yet he claims he only wants to sign the very best.

Wardley and Babic are novices and shouldn't be in the conversation yet, not even for Allen, it's not sensible from Hearns point of view because he will lose whoever loses without much gain, if Allen loses to either then it's over, and if Babic lost to Allen his reputation as this "savage" takes a huge dent and Wardley too.

If Allen loses to a Hammer, I think Hearn could spin it, Hammer has beaten Price, been around the block, it isn't shocking result but if Allen loses to a novice then it's curtains and there is no coming back from that.

It will e very interesting to see who Hearn picks for Allen now, I'm sure Bakole and Nelson will be calling for it if he is anywhere near fit just to get out before the new year but I have a feeling they will be blanked.

Letting Hunter go was a big mistake given his performances against Kuzmin and Povetkin whilst with Matchroom.

I can understand letting ortiz go - old, only one notable win his whole career and stunk the place out against Malik and Allen.

Bakole is different, Hearn does hype him up in interviews but hes diffcult to match due to being so high risk and low reward. Attempting to make fights with Bakole vs Hrgovic and Dubois but they werent interested. Also was unfortunate with Kuzmin pulling out a previous arranges fight.

Hrgovic is difficult beause he seems unwilling to step up quality as of opponents yet.
