Hmm i dont know. It sounds like an excuse tbh. If it was that bad he could've pulled out. A lot of guys do this all the time when they get injured before a fight. The fact the fight pushed thru and happened suggest that the injury wasnt that severe and probably only got worse during the fight. It MIGHT have played a factor on why loma was inactive for 6 or so rounds but one we cannot say for sure. The fight between cuello and zhong for the WBC 105 belt was more believable to me

 

I'm sure he did look like **** when he won every round vs the number two in the division at that particular time.

Rigoblin got schooled and lost every round. Loma still won rounds and was not schooled.

So, he aggraved it 5 weeks before the fight, had a small cartilage issue.

Didn't tell Arum, didn't seek postponement of the fight.

Reading between the lines they thought it a manageable issue and he was scheduled for this repair win, lose or draw.

So, I don't view it as an excuse for a loss, or even as the cause of the loss.

His shoulder must have chronic issues now to the point where his team and he are happy to manage problems rather than derail his career plans.

Before the fight I was reading comments under YouTube clips and people were so excited how Loma was going to be completely healthy this time. I could've sworn his team said he was the healthiest he's ever been in Blood, Sweat and Tears: Part 1. They deserve no respect for this ****, and lost a lot of fans.

Speaking of PART 1 of that documentary, Where the **** is it??? Top Rank erased it from their YouTube channel.
