Is he on a wind up....

Arum said in an interview for 5 minutes how PPV is bad and that its great this fight was not on PPV and boxing needs to stop PPV and then says 2 minutes later he wants Lopez to fight Ryan Garcia next as the biggest PPV drivers are Hispanics.

Also said how Eddie Hearn is the only promoter that uses rematch clauses when its been confirmed that Loma had a rematch clause for Crolla and Campbell and Brooks got one for the Crawford fight. All at Arums request.

As much as Bob is a legendary promoter. Hes forgetting his own lies within 5 minutes now. Top Rank need to start letting someone else do the interviews.

Nothing new under the sun. Arum has always been a massive liar.

I wouldn't find seeing Lopez against Garcia. It's a good fight.

I'd love to watch it, but it's hard to take Bob Arum's words at face value.

Nothing new as Bobfather Bob Arum is a self confirmed liar and to quote him under oath “yesterday I was lying, today I am telling the truth”.

It would sell big. But this is just Arum blowing sweet kisses at us and nothing more.

Oscar ain’t taking a chance of selling his future cash cow that early.

If Ryan beats Campbell legitimately, this is a good option. It’s probably too big to do in an empty stadium. Need to have this one in front of a live audience which means it’s probably going to be pushed out to spring. Would like to see Ryan fight a couple more times to gain experience in 12 round fights but he’s a game young guy.

Looks like LW could become the hot division. I thought WW was the most stacked but those guys don’t seem to want to fight each other. If Ryan is serious about fighting top guys and Teo does the same, and Tank’s balls finally drop and he fights actual guys in his division instead of smaller guys moving up, we could see some great matchups at 135. I’ll believe it when I see it.

I am not sure how long Haney, Lopez and Garcia stay at lightweight. Lopez says he is going up for sure and the other two are tall for lightweight.

...does he want Kingry to never be old enough to rent a car without co-signment?

This. Lopez is the new Marvin Hagler and new Manny Pacquiao. We're about to start seeing him straight destroy people. And would have done the same to Loma viciously had he not ran award like coward.

Kingry is a good fighter and has begun winning over my begrudging respect lately, but you know whose respect he would have a fatal inability to get? Brooklynero's...and once Teó starts landing on him I'm not sure Ryan has enough dog in him to hang...even if his chin holds up.

I agree. Lopez is the real deal it seems. He has the grouchy spiteful demeaner and physical strength of Marvin Hagler combined with the speed and explosiveness of Manny Pacquiao. I can't really see any Lightweights standing up to that kind of vicious in ring behavior unless of course they run away.

How is that any different from Floyd's "Sometimes i contradict myself" statement? Here's a clue..it's not.
