    Edgar should be careful what he wishes for because Benavidez will beat the soul out of his body. He's not ready for the particular brand of evil, not now, not ever.

    I agree but ever? The kid is 23 and is far from a finished product. That being said im not sold at all on him either at this point. Im hoping he turns out to be the real deal because hes a fellow P`Rican but thats as far as my bias goes. I call it how i see it and im not sold but at his size and apparent punching power he could turn out to be something special. Too early to tell yet.

    Ever. Benavidez is demon.

    Berlanga can punch for sure but he's knocking over soup cans albeit in impressive fashion. We'll see what happens when they throw him in with someone decent.

    I wonder if this preposterously slow pace he's being brought along at (relative to what he can do) is just trying to wait out Benavidez being able to make 168.

    A new, 190lbs CW (also called Light Tigerweight) could be a boon for these two. If you take some of the large CWs away they have some more career longevity.

    Exactly how i see it. Also to be clear i wasnt saying he can beat Benavidaz because right now he`d get destroyed but 5 years from now i just dont know if i can say the same. Youre far more confident than i am lol!

    I agree right now. My only point is i have no idea what Berlanga is going to look like in 5 years. What you think of Benavidez v Canelo right now?

    Lol. What are the chances that fight happens? Right now i got Canelo with the W. The real winner though would be us fans. Id love to see it.

    I've never heard Clenelo mention Benavidez's name. I think there's a reason why that is :lol:

    I'd definitely love to see it. A real macho Mexican man beating up on a metrosexual one lol

    :lol: I think Benavidez being 23? his people may want to wait till hes a litte more seasoned for a Canelo fight. I have no idea why its not being floated out there. Benavidez did beat Dirrell whos a seasoned vet and did so pretty convincingly.
