people are never going to agree on a p4p list. nor is it possible to get it right. cause everyone has their own criteria. we use resume and the eye test because thats pretty much all that carries any weight. but all the great fighters were p4p before they had the resume and the eye test is very often wrong. the list of washouts is long and ugly and some fighters take a whole career to find an adequate dance partner to prove how good theyve been for a while.

Above Spence is fine, but above Canelo just exposes the bias of this list.

That's an absolute joke... ahead of Usyk? Usyk has 6 top class wins on his resume, Lopez has 1 elite name on his record but he needs at least another 2 or 3 top class names to be in P4P top 5.

I think there just isn't a clear No.1 at the moment

Most people put Canelo at the top, but there are asterisk shaped supernovas next to his main achiements, and there are pretty good arguments against the other canidates too.

For starters: not have 4 wins that are at the very least questionable, and at the most "should be" losses.

    Original topic:
I have no problem with Lopez being inserted into the top 10, 5 is a stretch.

Because beating Loma is 100x better a win than beating Gassiev. 6 "top wins" by Usyk is a completely subjective claim. One could argue that no one in the cruiserweights division besides Usyk is elite.

If Liam Willams wins the WBO strap next year and makes a few defences of it and Spence can somehow manage to summon the courage to dare to be great and step up to his natural weight class 154 and pick up a strap up there and then up to 160 to fight Williams after doing so he (E-Spence) would 100% get knocked spark out in HL reel fashion. Would they then find a lofty ranking for Williams on that P4P list in that scenario? lol

Come on... Gassiev, Briedis and Hunter are clearly top drawer... Huck who arguably beat Povetkin who is considered Elite got destroyed by Briedis and Usyk.

Gassiev Breidis and Hunter are top drawer based on what criteria? Povetkin has never, ever been elite so Huck "almost beating him" at the end of his career means little.

Canelo has beaten GGG, Jacobs and Kova, GGG has only beaten Deverenko who was just beaten by Charlo, Not to mention some people had Derverchenko beating GGG.
