Takam is shot to absolute pieces. He wouldn’t be able to last the pace against a prime young lion like Otto wallin/ Tom Schwarzenegger.
Schwarz stands no chances what so ever against Takam. Schwarz was struggling and losing rounds to Gashi before the DQ, Takam beat Gashi in every round before KOing him. I see Takam, too physically strong, too powerful for Wallin, Takam would pile on the pressure, keep up the high workrate and cut the ring off (Wallin has poor foor work). Jerry Forrest would be wallins toughest opponent after Fury on his resume, thats speaks volume of just how poor Wallins resume is. Takam would be amongst Furys best 4 opponents (at the very least) that he has ever fought.
Takam doesn't have the gastank anymore, as was shown in his last fight. You overrate Takam way too much. Hes a solid gatekeeper, nothing more than that. Wallin would beat him now. His foot work is not poor either. You're talking rubbish there. He almost beat Fury ffs (your agenda against Fury is laughable BTW).
Takam lasted rounds with AJ so in the eyes of Mitch that makes him a top 10 heavy. Probably the first time he saw a fighter move so you can understand.
I assume it's Kabayel and possibilty of Takam is being thrown in there to make us relieved when they announce the fight. IF it is Carlos at least we get to play 'teak tough' bingo with the commentary team.
Autistically obsessively using ‘resumes’ as the only yardstick for measuring a fighter is naive, surely you know there’s a lot more to it than that.
Ridiculous, if it’s Takam, in heaven’s name, he was flattened by Chisora! Fury is in incredible shape, by all accounts, and while I think, he is out on his own compared to the current crop just now, surely a “live” opponent can be found.
Rubbish. I would class Takam as a high Euro level standard fighter similar to what I do with Chisora. A gate keeper to world level fighters (both Chisora and Takam would be excellent choices for an opponent of the Joyce vs Dubois winner). Takam has never been a easy nights work for anyone. - Robbed a win over Perez. - Gave parker good fight, i had it 8-4 parker. - I had Takam winning a couple rounds against povetkin and kept the fight competitive untill the late KO. - Took AJ late untill the deeper rounds. - Was clearly beating Chisora untill he gassed and got hit with a great shot. I would actually back Takam to win if they had the rematch. Whilst Wallin had a good peformance against Fury (we still dont know what Fury is at since post retirement due poor level of opposition) winning 4 rounds off Fury and Fury was lucky not get stopped (if Fury struggled with Wallins pressure and workrate just imagine what problems Takam's would cause) Apart from that Wallin biggest achievement is beating a guy on points that Dimitrenko Koed in 1 round or beating Kauffman.
I am a Fury fan but I have no interest in a Takam fight. Let's see the fresh face, quality boxer with the win over Del Boy.
Indeed, the term doesn't exist in Britain, people should use the term 'Curriculum Vitae' or even 'CV' if into the whole brevity thing. To 'resume' is to recommence a task after being distracted by something, such a a knock at the door, a telephone call, or a number two.
This is the kind of fight that makes Fury look bad because there’s no real threat and he just messes around. There’s about 9 inches in height between them as well just to top it off so it isn’t going to look great to a casual audience either when he’s not just banging the fella out.
