The funniest thing about these uploads of yours, is that before you went on Boxrec to find a blue or red box on Toney’s resume, you didn’t know anything about those guys.
Look at the end of your post. Yes, GG was far more dominant in his prime. But by your own admission, he fought lesser fighters in an easier schedule. Do we need to hire Columbo? Do you not think that those 2 factors have an impact upon your statement?? Barely beating Johnson? Who did GG beat like Reggie Johnson? Nobody.
Yes barely edging Johnson, it was a SD. What excuse can you use this time? IMO GGG beat a smiler class of opponents ( Excluing Young and Jones, ) and did it in a much easier fashion that Toney numerous draws and SD's his opponents.
There are no excuses. Reggie was a tricky southpaw. It was a tough stylistic match up for him. Now tell me which tricky southpaw GG fought who was on Reggie’s level. What excuses do you have for swerving the following question: Again, GG fought lesser opponents than Toney in an easier schedule. So did those 2 factors play a part in his dominance? Yes or no?
Regarding: I'm going to assume that, following your claim that I had quoted you incorrectly and out of context, as well as your threat to flag me for slander and call me a liar, you have been unable to find any examples of such quotes attributed to you. As such and, whilst I do not expect an apology from you because that might make you an actual man, I do expect you to stop with this type of nonsense claim and threats, like those you have made here, and refrain from doing anything similar, in future. In other words, STFU and know what you’re talking about, before you think about making slanderous accusations and threats against me again. Otherwise, it is likely I, who will be forced to do the reporting. Capisce? Enjoy your evening.
Loudon finally replies to the questions I asked him. Question #1 Do you think GGG is a hall of fame bound fighter? Yes or No? Not only do I think he is. I also think he'll earn the first-ballot distinction as possibly the top vote-getter in his class. This content is protected This content is protected Question #2 I think both Toney and GGG are top 25 all-time middleweights. Do you agree, Yes or no? This content is protected This content is protected Question #3 Do you think Nunn or McCallum are top 25 all-time middleweights? Now be honest, and if the answer is yes for either, Produce a top 25 list to be examined. To help you case you need names for the list, you can use the IBRO at Poll, which voted on their top 20 middleweights with some honorable mention. I was a former member. Most current members shun the web forums by the way. A few do post here. Since the IBRO rarely votes on active fighters, GGG's name is not mentioned, but Toney, who retied did make the honorable mention coming in 25th place overall. Personally, I think Ketchel has no business being where he is, and Toney would beat some rated ahead of him. You may also use Rumsfled's top 15 poll at ESB. This content is protected This content is protected Question #4 Do you think Golovkin would beat the 24-11-0 Sanderline Williams? Williams entered having lost three consecutive bouts on points and with a record of 2-7 in his previous nine. Assume this is GGG's 22nd pro fight, same as Toney. Toney drew with Williams. Call KO, UD, SD, Draw, or loss here for GGG. This content is protected This content is protected Quesiton #5. Do you think GGG would have to settle for a split decision vs. Sosa who was then an 18-0 greenish fighter and finished a 39-4-2 KO'd 4 times? Yes or no. Call Ko, UD, SD, Draw, or loss for Golovkin. This content is protected This content is protected Question #6. Do you think GGG would have to settle for a split decision, being knocked down in the process vs. a Ring Magazine top ten rated Reggie Johnson, or would Golovkin do better in your opinion? Call KO, UD, SD, Draw or loss for Golovkin This content is protected This content is protected Question #7 Do you think Golovkin would have to settle for a draw in his prime vs. a 35-year-old Mike McCallum? What's your call here, win, draw or loss. Keep in mind McCallum after this fight, never beat anyone good at middle or super middle and lost 3 more times. McCallum also said he was past his prime at this point, which video would attest to in from his fights years ago. Your call for Golovkin here is KO, UD, SD, Draw, or loss This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected Question #8. Do you think GGG in his prime with 7 weeks to prepare for Dave Tiberi, who also the same amount of time to prepare as would defeat Tiberi? Call KO, UD, Draw or loss, please. We both agree Toney should have lost this fight. This content is protected This content is protected Question #9. How would GGG do vs Roy Jones? Better than Toney or worse?. Would he be floored as Toney was? Your answer to this question is? IMHO, I don’t think even the best version of GG would have stood a chance against the version of Roy Jones who Toney fought. I could see the worst of Toney being outworked but anything near their respective bests, Toney is making him miss and pay too much. Toney clear cut 116-112.
The funny thing about the idiots that I argue against, is they claim I haven't seen the fights when I have posted the footage, made specific reference to events in the fights and pointed out stylistic weaknesses in their hero's style ... and their response is to ignore it and claim I've never seen the fights. It's like arguing with a bunch of toddlers.
