Co-feature to Juan Francisco Estrada Romero vs. Carlos Roberto Cuadras Quiroa II on DAZN tomorrow, for the vacant "WBA Super" world super flyweight title. It counts as Chocalatito's first "defense" of the super belt after being upgraded from regular champion. Common opponents include Ramón García Hirales (lost a UD to Israel in 2016, and was kayoed in 4 by Román four years earlier) and Khalid Yafai (defeated Israel by UD in November 2018 and was stopped by Román four months later)
This is the fight I'm most looking forward to on the entire DAZN card. Israel is a tricky cookie who is skilled and durable. Roman should prove to be too skilled and experienced for Israel, however I'm not 100 percent certain he will beat Israel via KO. Maybe a 9-3, 10-2 type UD.
I think Chocolate and the Rooster both have pretty easy nights (with opponents built to make them shine, by no accident) en route to a looooong awaited rematch.
Most people don't eat no little chocolates with no fork but this one has one already embedded right in the middle of 'im.
I dont think Roman has the same punch resistance he had before and israel is the bigger man with longer reach. If roman cant knock him out early i think israels size is going to be a huge factor going down the stretch. You dont have to be the hardest puncher to get a ko. I think Paulie is a perfect example of that.
I think all the fights today will be registered as NC because there is no commission involved here even though the WBC and WBA are considering them as title fights.
Hope I'm wrong since I want Roman to get that 50th win, however the fights will probably be NCs. Or maybe the fights here ( also Navarrete's and Berchelt's fights in Mexico) will later on be turned into official results?
