    Eddie Hearn has said that he thinks Terry O'Connor should be removed from his position as one of the BBBoC's senior judges after a photo of him apparently scrolling through his phone circulated online following his controversial scoring of the Ritson Vasquez fight.

    I'm glad Hearn has called this out though. It would have been easy for him to trot out the 'it could have gone either way' line no matter how ridiculous it is. He's called out DAZN's coverage too.

    well, at least he cares about the sport and has done wonders for it.
    And he isn´t robbing his fighters blind like King did.

    Yea, you can make the argument that UFC guys aren´t getting paid, but then go take a look at other MMA promotions.

    He's robbing them with those low purses. He also plays massive favourites with people's careers. It's not the meritocracy he'd like us to believe it is.

    Like I said, go look at other MMA promotions pay.
    Everyone is free to negotiate with the UFC. If a fighter can get more money elsewhere, they will do so. Most of the time they stick to the UFC.

    And of course some get the more favorable treatments as they are either big money draws, or promising prospects. But the same goes in boxing, so I don´t see the complaint here.

    Other promotions being worse doesn't make what Dana's doing OK. They're being exploited with a lot of the lowball purses he pays.

    And boxing has problems with multiple promoters and bodies but top level MMA is more a less a monopoly in which Dana decides who gets what unilaterally.

    For him to have arrogance to be going through his phone when TV cameras are around must have meant the man was high or drunk, or both.

    Isn't this the guy that gave Fury the W over McDermott first time around?

    Not that I think it was an issue because it was a close fight, but rumours were he had a grudge against John.
